Just got off the April 15 Med sailing and had Havana cabana 5237 (2nd to the end aft). This wasn't really a hang out by the pool kind of cruise, we only used the pool area one afternoon. The pool area was never very crowded and we enjoyed our time out there. If we book Horizon or Vista again, we will choose a Havana balcony cabin on 6 for a couple of reasons. First, our cabin was extremely hot, as in the AC didn't appear to work at all. The weather was unseasonably warm and the cabin was sweltering at night. We asked them to come check it several times and were told everything was fine. We spoke with our neighbors who were experiencing the same problem. It would have been much more comfortable if we had been able to keep the slider open, but that wasn't really an option as you are exposed to an open walkway. Secondly, I missed having the view that a balcony affords. The cabanas face a large sheet of plexiglass that isn't as nice to look through.
We didn't hear any of the music from the Havana bar from inside our room. Folks in an inside Havana cabin said it was quite loud in their room. The people in the cabin next door (5239) said that they were awoken several nights in a row by loud clanging noises, but we did not hear it. They said it was coming from the area on the other side of them (crew only entrance).

I tried purchasing the package a few days ago for the same sailing and got an error message. After about 20 minutes on the phone with Carnival, I was told that there is no preorder of Cheers on Horizon until further notice.

I found a couple of videos on YouTube of Horizon that were posted yesterday. Here's one of a Havana balcony room. Appears to be similar to the photo chocolate melting cake posted above.

We booked on Horizon's 4/15 sailing in a premium balcony. After reading everything about the Havana cabin areas, I started having major cabin envy even though this isn't a warm weather cruise. Just got off the phone with TA and switched to a Havana Cabana because I want to check it out for a possible future/warm weather cruise. This is our first Carnival cruise. I'm so excited! :)

Horizon changing ports on Tuesday 4-24. Company cites port congestion in Cagliari!

I also got off of the 4/15 sailing and experienced the shuttle in Cagliari. That was the only port where we didn't have any planned excursions, so we only spent a few hours walking around the city before returning back to the ship around 1 pm. It was still fairly early, but the area to catch the shuttle when we returned was very disorganized and it wasn't clear where to go. We missed the first shuttle due to the crowds, but there was a lot of pushing and shoving once the next bus arrived to get on. Our friends followed us back about an hour later and it appeared that the situation worsened based on their account. We sat out on the deck to watch the remaining passengers return close to the time when everyone was supposed to be back on board. The shuttles were jam packed and people were running to the ship. There were 3 names being called, but everyone was able to make it back on board.
