Is it possible to get from the Port to Kennedy Space Centre independently? Are there shuttles/taxis at the port to take us there and likewise to return when we need to? 

can anyone tell me if there are tour operators selling tours or ferry tickets to Magdalena Island at the Port or tender drop off. I'll be on the Oosterdam.  

What is there to do if I'm not interested in seeing Job's Tomb or doing an excursion. Is the town accessible from the ship? Anything interesting there to see? I've only had bad responses from friends who have stopped in Salalah basically telling me THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN SALALAH!!  

So if anyone out there thinks differently, please let me know! 

have booked an excursion to Chichen Itza... so hopefully it's the right choice!

I just thought that Chichen was better because it's more iconic to say we've been there to see it.....?

Is Uxmal better to visit than Chichen Itza? Anyone been to both?  We would like to visit a Mayan site and want to see the best one. Best as in plenty to see, lots of photo opportunities etc. 

Also can anyone advise if it is possible to see these ruins with mobility issues. Not planning to climb anything, but will walking around  be a problem?

I didn't like Kota Kinabalu - not much to do there really unless you hike up Mount Kinabalu which you can't because you're not there long enough.

It's good for eating and shopping.

Market is there but they are active very early in the morning and it's not really very interesting. 

There is a mosque that looks like it's floating in the water (but it isn't). Cost money to go in to take a photo! Be warned.

Lots of shopping centres.

If you self disembark meaning you carry everything off yourself, you can disembark the earliest. Don’t choose to leave your luggage outside your stateroom the night before

We’ve not really considered car rental as it’s just too complicated to collect the car and try to navigate ourselves

The private tours have quoted us between 290-350 euros for the trip

Now considering staying in Lisbon

Does anyone know if there are taxis or tours available once we arrive at the port? We are interested in going to Óbidos and other villages. It’s quite expensive with private tours at the moment as there are only 4 of us .

We took the ships tour Seville on your own which basically transferred us to Seville and we had time to ourselves

The alcazar is closed Mondays so we didn’t go there but the rest is pretty good - cathedral, plaza de España etc. Nice place well worth doing for the day

Flew Orlando to London Gatwick in January no problems. Besides not having entertainment screens it was worth the cheap fare. Flying with them next January to Singapore as they were by far the cheapest and they were flying direct

Indian rupees are only available in India. Not allowed to take their currency out of the country- that’s why you can’t buy it abroad

Has anyone done this trip to Santiago de Compostela? Any recommendations on how to get there and back? (besides using the ship's excursion)

Is there anything to to in Aqaba besides the town? Anyone been to the beaches there? We have done Petra and Wadi Rum and the town itself (nothing there). Anyone tried snorkelling?

We are calling here for a day before disembarking in Fort Lauderdale the next day. Would like to go to the Kennedy Space Center- please can anyone suggest how we can get there and back? I’m hoping to buy entry tickets online.

We arrive in port Everglades in January, in the morning and have an overnight here before we disembark the next day when we transfer to Orlando.

Any suggestions what we can do in a whole day? How do we travel from the port? Are there taxis? Water taxis? Scooters for hire??

When we were here for the day a few years back we did the Everglades.

Should we see the beaches? What’s the temperature like then?
