Has anybody been to Moody gardens? Is it worth going to see the rainforest pyramid.? How do you get there from the cruise terminal? Any information on this will help. Can't decide if we want to go there after our cruise.

Looking forward to reading

Do you have any information on The Cruise Stop by Galveston Pier. I was told we can drop our luggage there for a small fee and walk around that area downtown. Any information would be great. I know they close at 3 p.m. but how far is it from the pier in walking distance? Has anybody ever had any experience with this.? Can you walk around easy in that area?

hello all!
I am trying to book 8 night cruise on Breeze between eastern and southern Caribbean and wanted ask your input on opinion/reviews from itinerary.
Eastern - St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, Grand Turk
Southern - Aruba, Bonaire, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk
Southern route is about $300 more expensive (total not per person)
Which one would you choose and why?
I am a fan of beautiful beaches.
I REALLY want to visit Maho Beach and watch planes landing in St. Maarten but then I don't like San Juan since it's really not a beach day...
what can you tell me about these itinerary? and pros and cons? I will be cruising with 6 and 11 old kids.
anything special about Aruba and Bonaire?
thanks in advance!
Nothing beats Half Moon Cay. One of the most beautiful beaches to see if you have never been. The sand is like powdered sugar. Carnival's private Island so they have food and music.

Hi Everyone! I’m baaaack! After 3 consecutive Carnival cruises from 2012-2015, I’ve been on a bit of a Carnival hiatus for the last few years. Nothing against Carnival… it was just time to try something new and different. I always knew I’d be back sooner or later, and now that day has come!
My name is Dana and my husband and I just returned from a 7-night cruise on the Carnival Dream (March 10-17, 2019 sailing). I always write a detailed photo review when I return home from my cruises, with a journal-style day-by-day format. I used to have links to each of those reviews in my signature, but Cruise Critic changed their rules (boooo!) and I had to delete most of the links. You can still search the forums for those reviews (or visit my blog at http://deladane.home.blog), if you are interested in reading them! Anyway, this review will be just like my old ones. If you are looking for a short and sweet review, you might want to look elsewhere... I tend to write like I talk, and I can be a bit long-winded, so my reviews are very long and take a few weeks to complete. On the other hand, if you like reading about lots of details, and if you want to see TONS of photos (including all of the daily schedules and menus), this is the review for you! I do this as much to help others plan their vacations as to give me a travel log to look back on and remember my wonderful cruise. Please feel free to ask questions and post comments along the way... I welcome your feedback 🙂
It may take me a little while to get all of my photos sorted and loaded onto my computer considering I took nearly 2000 photos on this vacation, so please be patient with me. Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip as a little something to hold you over until it's time to post the rest!
Can't see any of the pictures

Has anybody gone to Moody Gardens from Galveston Texas off of a cruise ship. My questions are how do you get there? Where would I store my luggage while I am there. I will be getting off the freedom on a Sunday.

I know this is "tacky", but it makes me crazy when people don't bother to look at Google maps. That can tell you where they are all located.
That tells me where they are located but does not tell me if I am in a bad area. Like I said I don't know the area.

Have you tried Trip Advisor instead for questions regarding hotels?
Yes I have , but that does not tell me where they are at since I don't know the area.

We are catching a cruise out of Galveston in June and I was looking for a hotel. Would like to stay in Houston Webster area but I don't know the area. Need a room with a restaurant and two queen beds that's all I need. Does anybody have any ideas not too expensive around $100 a night.

I recommend the Drury Inn. Free shuttle or $10 cab which, with a receipt, they will reimburse. Free dinner and 3 free drinks. Not great food but usually a good salad and some sort of entree. Enough to be satisfied with. Also free popcorn. Cheaper than some others mentioned. Free shuttle back to airport in the AM to get the RCI shuttle.
Where is this Drury Inn hotel. I pull it up and there is more then one. Is it in league City

I turn platinum on my next Cruise. We are leaving out of Galveston Texas and I was wondering if they had a separate room that we wait in to board the ship?

Spring Break 2019 it will be myself and my 7 year old son both previous cruisers. Husband will be home working.
Help me choose between the Miracle and Freedom. Both are close in price and have the same itinerary (Cozumel, Belize, Mahogany Bay) except the Miracle will have an additional stop in Grand Cayman.
Flying in from Indianapolis.
Thanks!
The Freedom is 10 times a better ship. It is built better and in better shape. It also has stuff that Miracle does not. I do not like the miracle. I try not to go on a ship that does not have the 2.0 upgrades.
