  1. Would like to book the sanctuary for turn around day on B2B.  Do I do this on first leg of cruise or on first day of second leg (turn around day).Is someone posted at Sanctuary in the morning of turn around day so I can book and enjoy while others board?

  2. I was told today by two different HAL agents that although my cruise embarks in Copenhagen, Denmark, which requires no test to enter, Holland still requires me to get a test before boarding.  I mentioned their own website says no test required for boarding ships in Europe but they said it was still required. And none of the countries we visit on this cruise require testing to enter.

Wearing it outdoors it was like 50% because St. Thomas requires them, regardless of vaccination status. I only glanced at the beach and not many seemed to be wearing them.

Admittedly not every resident was wearing one  either but most seemed to be so I figured I wouldn’t be a stereotypical tourist and follow the rules.

I walked in port area only today in st Maarten and masks were only “required” indoors.

I'm assuming that it was limited in size due to the reduced numbers onboard but not in selections available.

I personally think selections aren’t that great. But always find something to eat 😀. Gone to all islands but late getting into St Kitts because of medical emergency while ship in Barbados.  Like the Ap when working. Can order food and drinks from anywhere   But with so many crew around, they usually approach and take my order before I finish doing it on the Ap

  5. Sip and cover is ridiculous when allowing people to blow air and smoke out of their mouths in the casino!!  No health concerns there! Also, if this is a health protocol why is eat and cover not implemented too? I have no problem wearing a mask indoors,  but on and off with my mask while drinking is stupid.  I have one cruise booked with friends for February and would cancel if not for them.  I will not book any others with Princess until this sip and cover is dropped.

    Getting off the Ship -

Been advised that in each of the restricted ports passengers will be permitted off the ship into a restricted shopping area inside the port.   This will be the same in the next two ports.

St Lucias is fairly restrictive.    You can only go ashore between 11-3:00 and recommended to be back on ship by 3:00.     At 4:00 pm they have a HARD CURFEW and all business must be closed and people off the streets.

Are ship tours allowed in St Lucia?

It's a Rapid Antigen Test- Which is the quick test.

I would look over the CVS website, it lists all the details along with payment info.

Well, thanks! I feel much better is it’s a rapid one. There should be no problem getting quick results with those. Maybe even the Monday before Tuesday departure.

You don't need a PCR test if you are in the US you can use the Rapid Antigen Test.

    https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing/?icid=coronavirus-lp-nav-general-testing

    Should be free

CVS said tests for travel are $139. Free test only if you have symptoms or been exposed.  Are all antigen tests rapid? “Rapid” wording not used by Princess—

Yes, effective with cruises departing on August 15th, we will require ALL fully vaccinated guests to produce a negative, medically-observed viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken within 3 days of their embarkation on all Princess sailings.
