RC Captains are mostly all from Norway sans a few that are Canadian and Swedish. I actually can understand them better than the Italian Captains on Carnival.
So in other words I will not be understanding anything this trip either..LOL
Thanks for the inputs!

Does anyone else have trouble understanding what the Captain is saying over the sound system?? Last cruise was on RCCL & I couldn't for the life of me understand a single thing he was saying. Not very clear at all. Has it gotten any better? Just curious..

2 Days until the Liberty! Woop Woop

Just received 2 emails from Carnival; each for a booked cruise.
Cruise A: Oceanview for 4 days. Upgrade to balcony $26
Cruise B: Oceanview for 8 days. Upgrade to balcony $412
Snapped up that upgrade on cruise A faster than I could get the Amex out :') Cruise B can simmer down :')
LOL that made me laugh! Crusie B can simmer down...lolol

I hear alot about these bath robes they must be something real nice! What makes them so special? IDK but I will be requesting one just because inquiring minds want to know.. :)

Has anyone stayed in this cabin recently? Is it quiet & how is the movement & rocking in this location? Any info would be appreciated.

After being asked by a fellow CC member I emailed the company & inquired on the closure of the inflatable Aqua park & this was their reply. Incase other inquiring minds wanted to know..
"Unfortunately, the water park is down for maintenance until further notice but we have added the kayaks, paddle boards and aqua bikes in place of it."
So not sure if it will be coming back or not...

I'm doing the VIP Blue Lagoon with lunch included on April 11. I'll come back and post pictures of the Island and the included lunch.
Awesome!

We are going to Blue Lagoon in Nassau this April. It has wonderful reviews for beach time.

I personally don't know either but I did just see this review too from 2 days ago...Sounds like they did remove it.. I will let you know as I am going there April 16th..

Was easy getting back on the Blue Lagoon boat which went directly but a little difficult to get there in the morning,WiFi wasn't good and barely working. wanted to take a photo with the dolphin but the times were not convenient. Lunch was good, staff was friendly. Bar was good. water was clean and clear. Water sports available was great (especially in the morning before anyone else got there) was disappointing the inflatable water parks were gone since that's a BIG reason why i chose this place for the kids. However, they did allow us to use the Kayaks and water bikes in lieu of the inflatable parks but thats something we were excited about when booking.Boat ride there and back was fun with staff. Was upset they didnt have any Blue Lagoon T-shirts i could take back with me.

Thanks for the replies! Thinking of trying to minimize my packing so I keep room to bring some stuff home. Do you have to keep track of the beach towels in your room? What if someone takes it from pool area or something? Do you bring your own? Are they nice big beach towels? I know silly questions, right..lol this is only my 2nd cruise & don't remember much of 1st one...

Thank you all! We chose Blue Lagoon! Can't wait vacation begins in like 18 days!!!!

Yet another silly question but do all the ships provide body wash & shampoo in the bathrooms? If so, is it generic or is it actually good? I am on the Carnival Liberty in April. TIA
Also, do they provide beach towels or should I still bring my own?

Opinions please as to which place is best for a sweet beach day. Taking into considerations of crowds, kids, nicest beach area with enough space, etc. I have read some reviews & some are saying Balmoral has a very limited beach area so not sure which to pick.... TIA
