= Premium Beverage including gratuities
I also see the offers of all of the drink packages still available to me. They should show it as "reserved" like they do with excursions.Thank you. I agree, a simple "reserved" flag would be a timesaver for us and Celebrity. Good idea. 🙂
Have a great weekend...

This is good information. I am also curious how to tell which package is being applied to the booking. [I can't find the "oranges" or the "limes" - LOL.]
I have checked our booking confirmations for 3 sailings (booked direct with Celebrity) and the packages do not appear on the Confirmations. [We have booked a suite if that matters.]
For our upcoming cruise in April, we did not get a breakdown until we received the final payment receipt. The beverage package code was: TC08-BEVPRINGRAT9. [Could it indicate: PR=Premium?]
What confuses me is when I access the Cruise Planner it has an offer to purchase the Beverage Packages. If I already have it, why would it appear as an option? Or at least indicate we have it or zero out the price? Perhaps too much coding involved??
I did confirm that we do have the Premium package for the April sailing - now on the hunt to confirm the other two.
Appreciate the feedback.

We really enjoyed the Magic Carpet. Happened to stumble across it duringboarding. Looking forward to it our next sailing.
We didn't find it windy, slight breeze which was refreshing.

I would say it depends on the menu in Luminae. If Luminae is featuring the Jerusalem Artichoke Soup we would skip LPC. The soup is one of our favorites.
Also, for LPC, we would factor in the menu. If memory serves correctly they rotate the menu. Either one is fun and an experience.

Glad to know Europe releases next week.
Question: I thought Captains Club got the opportunity to book 3 days before the general public. Is that correct?
Thanks

We have dined at The Porch twice, once on Silhouette and once on Reflection. The difference was the dining time. On Silhouette, we had evening reservations but on Reflection it was during lunch. Depending on the breeze, or lack thereof, it can get very hot - especially on a port day. The food was great and we would book it again, just in the evening or while the ship is at sea.

I believe this might be the link you are looking for?
Not sure if the links and photos still work.

Just received the Congrats email and new documents. It transpired like everyone mentioned. Yesterday, one bid changed to "expired" and the other bid was "Pending" but the Modify and Cancel buttons went away - so I guess that indicates the "locked" status folks have mentioned.
Since we moved to Star Class I should cancel our beverage package? Not sure how that works.
Thanks everyone.

Hi! I just booked a cruise three weeks from now on Symphony. What are the odds of being offered a royal up? So far when I check I just get the message “make sure your cruise is under 30 day…” so I’m thinking maybe not eligible??
Below are the minimums (pp):
- Royal Loft Suite: 3,000
- Owners Panoramic: 2,500
- Grand Panoramic: 1,900
- Star Loft: 800
- Aquatheater - 2 BDR: 500
- Ultimate Panoramic: 400
- Aquatheater - 1 BDR: 300
Hope this helps.

This thread has been interesting and informative. Curious, have two bids in for the NOV 7 sailing on Oasis for a Star Loft Suite and a Two Bedroom Aqua Suite (we are currently booked in a Crown Loft Suite). Both bids say "Pending" and the "Modify" button is blue and "Cancel" button is greyed out. How do you tell it is "Locked"?
Also, since we received the RUP invite, all the suites have shown sold out. JS show's up when I try to do a mock booking. Wonder where they are pulling the inventory from or were the invites to bid a "just-in-case" or do they have it blocked for distancing?
New to the process. Thanks for the info.

For those who have cruised on the beautiful Edge, what Sky cabins have the bed facing the wall, instead of the sea? We sometimes like to watch TV from in bed. thanks all!
There was a thread a when Edge first came out that covered this:
Hope this helps.

We enjoyed Le Petit Chef. The food was good but felt the portions were small. The experience was funny and entertaining. Do it again, maybe as part of a dining package.

We go with someone else. Have found Nationwide Travel a good policy with great benefits. For example (depending on policy level purchased) you can receive payment for itinerary changes and port of call change. All-in-all we have been pleased with their service and product.
Looking forward to getting back onboard ship. Happy sailing everyone...

Perhaps I am interpreting the announcements incorrectly, but it appears several of the sailings are switching to 4 / 5 nights from 7+ nights. Could be wrong, but impression I am getting.

We enjoyed our cruise on Edge. She is a beautiful ship. The decor is great; however, to us the ship felt compartmentalized / disjointed. It was like different parts of the ship were put together. I guess a better way of saying it is the flow was off.
Take for example the Martini Bar. You can't walk all the way around it like you can on the Solstice Class ships where the Martini Bar is really a focal point. The way the track connects between deck 16 / 15 - if you are not careful you end up at a wall with the only option to backtrack.
A+ for the:
- Magic Carpet dining (need to do it more than once during the cruise)
- Destination Gateway - really nice
- Retreat area / pool / bar was great concept and relaxing
Our favorite is still Equinox, but given the opportunity would sail on the Edge again.
Hope this helps...

I have been a "lurker" on this thread - finding the information informative and helpful.
Of late, I have been "kicking myself" for not making a purchase when the shares were in the $20's. Now it is high $30's / low $40's. However, wonder what will happen Monday given the new CDC guidance. Just so confused...
At any rate, appreciate all the discussion here. Hopefully, some day we can return to the open seas. Wishing everyone a great weekend.

I am curious as to what they will do with the fleet during the suspension. Will the ships remain in their last port of disembarkation or will the ship return to sea?
-
I really did not see that big of a difference. However, the Retreat Sun Deck appears to be a waste in its current design. I get what they are attempting to do, but the gap is lack of service. There is an attendant up there, but what they should have done was added a bar. There is sufficient space I think for a small bar at the front of the area (facing the bow). Having experienced the Retreat on The Edge (which I was surprise how much I liked it), the dedicated bar service was a winner. Maybe they will revisit the idea on Equinox and add a bar or at least provide a cooler with bottled water.

We really enjoy the Butler Service (although we have never asked for assistance with unpacking - need to know where things are (LOL)).
For us, we have asked the Butler:
- Assist with Specialty Dining Reservations
- Coordinate a Sail-Away in our stateroom (they usually provide canapes, shrimp platter, etc.)
- Other special requests (as they arise)
Hope this helps

Just returned from Equinox sailing where we went to La Petite. Absolutely enjoyed it. Our favorite was the pasta entrée. Hopefully they transition the entrée to Tuscan Grill.
Happy sailings everyone.

Thanks for the post and updates. We board next Saturday - so excited to be back onboard Equinox.
By any chance did you happen to notice the Artichoke Soup on the menu in Luminae? If so, which night? (It is delicious by the way)
Glad to know the Silent Disco is Day 2.
Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing. Glad to see the artichoke soup is still on the menu.

ohhhhhhh, I use a fan at home( all year round for the noise). I downloaded a FAN app for my IPAD. Which travel fan do you use???
It's a box fan we got at Walgreens for around $10. The size is about 12" square by 3" deep. It does not take up too much room in the suitcase. If you are looking for one, now's the time to get one (end of season).
Hope this helps

This is interesting. Thanks for sharing.
We are looking for Ireland / Iceland for 2026. According to the schedule looks like it should release w/o 11/13/2023. Fingers crossed.
