  1. ;)

Not to say I am an expert on this, but I am:D;)....We always have tea in our cabin and have every single cruise since we became elite and before when we had suites...so at least 20 times or more, even once in an inside we had it delivered and took it to an outside table.

I have never had someone come take my order, only unless that is something new with Club Class.

Because you get what they are serving at tea that particular day.

Still my Favorite suite Perk, elite perk.....

You call room service....and say you want tea in your cabin.

In a suite you can order it just an hour before,

In a non-suite cabin I usually do it the morning of( says 6hrs, somewhere I have seen it) but sometimes I request it a few hours before and they have accommodated me.

It is brought to your cabin during tea time...our last cruises May & April it was 3-4pm( used to be 3:30-4:30) ...you request the time, during the hour.

They ask you how many people, in E731 last November we had 8 people and what a spread they brought.

They ask if you want some of everything...you say yes......or say just, sandwiches etc,

It is truly a wonderful experience, they bring a table cloth..it is a very nice event. In a suite we have had them stay and serve.

A generous tip, seems to be greatly appreciated.

I seem to recall having tea at an outside table myself ;)

  2. Read a recent article about CCL price predictions for the near future. The author said with great certainty and lots for confidence that there were three possibilities for the price:

    1. It could same about the same,

    2. It could go down or

    3. It could go up.

    Hard to argue with that.

Now, that is a wise sage. Hard to predict the future. I also wish I bought Apple or Microsoft way back when. Who needs Las Vegas?

  3. On our last cruise out of FLL we got to the terminal between 10 and 10:30, we were Ruby, so, IOW, peon class. We checked in and we led to a seating area.

We boarded by 11:30 am and were in our room so fast....we actually had to wait to go to the MDR for lunch!

this will be our last Ruby level so yeah .... peon. Since our cruise has staggered boarding, I hope they will let us on anyway. We plan to go from airport to terminal, we're waiting regardless.

  4. if i do show up at noon and find the lines overly long do i have an option? is there a bar/restaurant in the port area?.....food truck.....guy with a cooler of beer? ;)

Good question. I'd like to know that too. We're flying in that morning and will have some waiting time.

  5. Hi Saving the date. Yes, looks like we are on the same cruise. I have searched the personalizer high and low, but can not find that information. Not to worry, we will just show up at noon.

Really looking forward to our first cruise.

  6. Thank you

OP I believe you are on October 27th Island Princess through Panama Canal. We are on that also. Our cruise personalizar indicates staggered boarding based upon cabin location. You might want to take a look. ;)

Looking forward to our meet and greet.

  7. This has been so helpful. Thank you so much!!! I know many people appreciate your efforts. I've cruised Princess several times before, but never Panama Canal and never over 7 days. Now I have an idea of what to expect on my upcoming 15 day full transit cruise. Awesome!
