One point is awarded for every $2.50 of coin in on regular slots, and one point for every $5.00 of coin in on video poker.

Coin in is defined the amount of money wagered through a machine. For example, on a quarter 3-coin max bet machine, your coin in will be $0.75 every time you spin, and you will receive a point every 3-4 spins. Coin in has nothing to do with how much money you put in the machine, or how much you win or lose.

Is it 1500 points per cruise or 1500 total points over 2 or more cruises? So if I got 1495 on Ship A and 2 months later I was on Ship B and got 10 points, would I get it then?

No. 1500 points per cruise.

A few years ago, 9 other cruisers and I managed to take around a combined $7,500 off the craps table in one evening. I walked out about $600 ahead just playing $5 on the pass line with odds. The MDR was not the only place serving up hot rolls that evening. :D
