  1. I loved this ship. The staff in the MDR are so friendly. Our waiters were brilliant and the rest always had time to say hi and talk to our daughter. We always got offered more food if we finished our meals or if we didn't eat much we got offered a different meal.

To sat the entertainment staff are ok at best is harsh. We thought they were incredible. They would go out of their way to find us at night for a chat, so nice. And the evening shows and discos were really entertaining.

Only time the ship felt crowded was at night time but it never bothered us because most people were having fun at the promenade which is the best area in the ship. But sure you can't please everyone!!

  2. I had an early breakfast and it was nice not too busy, my travelling companion is a late riser, we went back up at 09.30 and it was a mad house.

I had pancakes and fruit which was nice. At 09.30 I tired some of the hot food.

The sausages I found were frankfurter style and very thinly cut bacon. I liked the hash browns.

The little pastries were nice and warm. I brought my tea from home, so can't comment, companion says coffee is ok.

It is extremely noisy in the buffet.

  3. Then why not spend the extra $$$ on another cruise ship where you like the food or think it's better? Again, I do not understand this argument: I want to pay less but expect to have everything.

Actually I'm not really sure i understand your argument. I'm paying for a cruise which already includes meals so I would expect it to be of a decent standard that I'm not forced to pay extra. As I said I'm going with an open mind.

  4. Not really the point does not matter if in the yatch club or bella, standard of food should be overall good with good quality of meat and served hot. You should not have to be forced to spend extra on specialiality restaurants just to get a decent meal.

Couldnt agree more! For me I am spending enough on the cruise as it is without spending extra on food.

Going with an open mind and hoping to enjoy a mixture of MDR and buffet.
