Excellent news. We join you in San Antonio. Hope that is the port that @cabinluvn meant.
Valparaiso is the port. Santiago is a bus trip away. We sailed from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso last march

Wonderful! We join you in Valparaiso on the 19th

I think you can just call the general info line at HAL and choose the option to book a cruise. You will get a random person who should be able to take over your booking
-
In my experience, they bring the beer and a glass to the table and pour it in the glass. You would have to tell them to leave it in the bottle. Don’t think I have seen a can of beer on a cruise

If this is the screen you are seeing, click on the Validate button.
Once this screen appears, select the Alinea option, and click Next.
Then upload your modified Brokerage statement with your account and other non-relevant information blacked out.In a few days once you have been validated as a valid CCL stockholder, the Redeem Perk button will now be active. Click on it and answer the questions regarding the applicable booking.
Thank you so much! Would have never found that!

FWIW, I just used the Stockperks app and it was pretty easy. I didn't have to link to my broker account, I just uploaded a PDF of my stock purchase confirmation. Later I realized it didn't have my name on it so I didn't think it would work (turned out it did) so I did a screenshot of my broker statement showing the holding and was able to crop it so my name showed and the holding showed, and nothing else. I ended up not needing the cropped screenshot, but even for an old guy (68) it was pretty easy.
I do not see where I can do this in the app. It is asking for a validation of my portfolio. I only see where you have to enter your username and password

Do we have to use the Stockperks app to send CCL stock proof for OBC or can we still mail our info like in the past?

We also turned 4 star during a cruise. We knew there was not going to be a recognized response during the cruise and did not expect any when we got home. It gets you extra perks. That’s all. Did not make me think less of HAL.

Instead of signing into your account, try accessing by the booking number access on the same screen as the sign in. Was having trouble, but when I did that, I could access excursions, dining, etc. Must be something weird going on

Someone mentioned that makeup mirrors are in the cabins on Holland America ships. Is this correct? If yes are they in every cabin or just suites? Do they light up and are they magnified? 5x or 10x ? Where are they located in the cabin?
Thanks
On the Niew Statendam now. The make up mirror is your cheap mirror with normal on one side and magnifying on the other. Cabins used to have lighted mirrors attached to the wall. No more

We have always found the cabin ready for us to drop off our carry on baggage. Checked baggage comes later, but we have always had access to our cabin upon boarding

We fly out to Copenhagen Monday. We sail on Wednesday. Good thing I have all my paperwork printed out!

Thanks for the responses!

We are arriving to Copenhagen a day early and have the transfer from airport to ship the next day. There is no mention of where to meet the transfer people in any of my paperwork or emails. I am assuming it in the arrival area of the airport, but do not know if there is a special area or there will be people holding HA signs. Anyone that has transferred shore to ship in Copenhagen that would have that info? Thanks

We have done both partial and full transits and have a cruise booked to do a full transit again. Can’t get enough of the Panama Canal. We love, love, love staying on the ship and watching the whole thing from our stateroom. Had aft cabins twice. This next time will have a midship. Nothing on shore can compare to the wonder of going through the locks. This next time the ship will stop in Panama for a port and we will get off the ship. But never while doing the transit

Finally was able to talk to my PCC. He said HAL’s cut off time is 3 hours using the ship’s shuttle. Ship docks at 7 am, I can get on the bus at 8 am and will be a the airport in plenty of time. I will stop obsessing.

We just booked the 17 day Inca cruise from Santiago to Ft Lauderdale with the 5 day Adventure package before boarding for the cruise. In the long run cheaper than doing the excursion to Manchu Picchu from the ship. All air, hotel and most meals included. And it takes you to the ship before it sails. Again, not cheap, but depends how badly you want to see Manchu Picchu and what degree of comfort you want to travel we are in our mid 70s and want it as comfortable as possible

@cabinluvnWe also have had a flight change time so I have used Booking.com to book transport for our arrival in Copenhagen on 23 August. It is a very easy process and is refundable up to 2 days before the booking.
We are on the same cruise, apparently! What time did you tell them to pick you up? Might be on the same flight, even!

It's not about "touring" It's about not making iffy flight connections. Make flight arrangements that give you time to make the flight. I understand one of your flights was changed unexpectedly and this is causing stress. You don't have to explain yourself to me or anyone for that matter. I'm just saying tight schedules make for unnecessary stress when things don't fall into place perfectly.
Thank you for understanding

At the end of a long cruise, I am tired and have no desire to do anymore sightseeing. I just want to get home. Cruising in Europe is rarely relaxing. I have a 10 day cruise booked for 2024 and 8 of the 10 days are port days. I will have tours booked in each one of them. When the cruise ends in Amsterdam, I will have no desire to do any additional touring.
I am right there with you. When we do the HAL transfer tour that is all day and then dropped off at the airport for an overnight flight, I am more than exhausted and ready to be home
