We also prefer BLU menu and the BLU  pre dinner snack  to Luminae..Some nights there on BEYOND, nothing appealed to us, slow bread service .

Our seats in Luminae were either in a dark area against the entry wall or a loud crowded area in the middle!  Sommelier was over worked.

We stopped going to Lum.. went to BLU or Specialty rests

We are in a Sky Suite on the Beyond in a few weeks.  I did not realize that we will be able to also eat the BLU.  Is this always the case?  Thanks in advance.  Steve

Hello, We are going to be sailing on Anthem on Feb 25. We don't own smart phones but I am computer literate we have our set sail pass with an arrival time of 10:00AM  My question is can us bommers pull this off with only a flip phone? Can we do our health check online (no app) before we leave the house. We will be bringing a laptop with us on this trip, Can we do the muster drill online or on the cabin tv when we get in our cabin?  Thanks, Joe

I have been on a total of 161 cruises and so far I have been with out a "smart" phone.  A flip phone and a tablet has helped.  You should be fine. Enjoy your cruise.

We are on the Symphony on 2/7/23 but we never been on symphony of seas before and just wondered what activities there were for 17 year olds

she will go to the teen club on first night and hopefully meet people she can hang out with but wondered if there are any activities for that age group day/night

she will most likely come to shows with us  but so she has other options  just wanted to know in advance

2/7/23??? Did you enjoy the cruise?

    Just kidding.  Enjoy!

Thank you both for the information, you have made us happy campers.  One of the things we enjoy so much ain the Sky Lounge is the wonderful view.  We also have met many lovely people and have developed lasting friendships.

I will register for the roll call wrk2cruise.

My understanding is that on Celebrity (unlike RCI) drinks are not "loaded" on you stateroom card but it is "open" bar for 2 hours (w/o the drink package) . Correct me if I am wrong.

Just wondering what kind of shape its in...hopefully good and people enjoying their cruise. Also are masks currently required?

    Cheers

The first Infinity cruise (with passengers) leaves June 25th.  Hopefully we will hear back from them.

I am pretty sure the hull is still white.  All pictures I see on the Celebrity web show a white hull.  She is in Port Everglades today at pier 19.  Maybe someone can catch a picture when she leaves today?  I think her first sailing since the pandemic is June 18, 2022 and hopefully folks will provide updates here.  I will be on board in early July and will also report back.

The first passenger scheduled cruise for the Infinity is June 25th.

  7. I have been in both staterooms, while 9256 has a bit of wrap around balcony and more rail space it is susceptible to more effects from rain due to less over hang.  If rain and getting a bit wet is your concern, you probably should change to 9660 which has deeper balcony with more over hang protection from the weather.

Just my opinion....Have a good cruise, Steve

I think because Royal did the test/simulation cruises for less than 95% vaccinated I don't think they can change back and forth on mask requirements based on a ship's itinerary.

Plus that would create way too much confusion for everyone.

OK, understand, but RCI currently has inside areas designated as Vax only therefore masks are not required in those areas.  On these "fully"  Vaxed cruises could they designate all inside areas as Vaxed only areas?  Therefore not masks required inside the ship.  Just asking.

If you don't have a smart phone to answer the health questions 24 hours before your cruise, the pier/shore-side staff will ask you a list of health questions during your wellness screening.  It will add a bit of time to your check-in process, but it isn't a problem.  Once on-board, you will have to watch the ship safety videos on your cabin TV if your phone doesn't have the ship's app.

Thanks for the information, much appreciated.   Steve
