Sorry, you can’t take the flowers off but after a week they were ready to be discarded.

The flowers are beautiful. I have gotten them at least 7 times and only one time there was an issue. I always get the deluxe tropical bouquet with many rare blooms but one time I got a beautiful one but it was not what I ordered. I told guest services and I was compensated for the price difference. You can only get the flowers on the first day obviously because Carnival does not actually provide the flowers. You can do whatever you want with them after the cruise I guess but I put them in the trash after a week long cruise.

Starboard side 25 minutes after sailing. I missed it before because I watched from my port side balcony cabin but I caught the beautiful backlit dawn sail back to the New York pier on return.

I usually get the hot stone massage on the fly cause that one is usually offered everyday at some discount. I always make use of the bundle of 3 services to get a discount pre cruise.

I have had all of the massages and some of the facials. The prices are resort prices and include tips. It does matter which ship you are on - I had the seaweed massage and the fire and ice pedicure on the Pride and while they were really good, they were exceptional on the Sunshine. The seaweed massage was enhanced by having a hot waterbed as part of the wrap process and the pedicure had better footbed setup.

I love the Elemis products and I have enjoyed everything I have purchased but I can find them in more places now so I don't buy them.

I checked the deck plan and the 6th and 9th decks have some larger inside cabins but I have never stayed in them.

I really like Dave's Best Limo. Tomorrow will be my third time using them. Door to door for 120 from Philly.

Going on my second bounce back as a solo. I looked up my cruise and selected (1st time 9 days 2nd time 8 days) the choices online under my VIFP number. Then I called my TA to give her the info. I didn't have any problems even though I didn't decide until the last hour of the offer. There was only one inside left but that's what I wanted

I did want to clarify though- do you get a DOU card when you are on the bounce back cruise? I didn't get that on my first one in 2014. My second one is in July and I was considering Cheers so I wanted to find out.

You have to fill out paperwork to let Carnival know of your particular need. I am traveling with my disabled cousin and she needs a fully accessible cabin. We got an upgrade to a Grand Suite from an extended balcony and there is only 1 accessible GS.

I learned of Dave's Limo service from these boards. They pick you up in a van at your home in Philly and return you for about 140 roundtrip. I had to be ready early because they pick up others who are on your cruise. I liked that i didn't have to get off Amtrak then take a cab. It was cheaper and easier.I used them twice and was pleased with the service.

I just used this service to get from my home in Philadelphia (Germantown) to the NYC cruise pier for $120 round trip.They were on time (7am - they chose the time) and then stopped 2 more times in the northeast section of Philly. All of the passengers were going on the same cruise. We got to the port by 10:15 am. Coming back was an issue but not for me. I was very late getting to the awaiting Dave limo shuttle- Our Carnival ship had issues and arrived in port late and the return shuttle had passengers from various cruise lines who had been picked up hours earlier. I could not believe that they waited for me. I was a happy camper but the waiting passengers- not so much. It was more than worth the $120 round trip fare.

I was in 8234 also and it was good to make quick runs to Lido.

I booked this cruise last July and I got one price refund due to the cost going down. Then the price dramatically shot up and now is sold out. I am surprised that it sold out so far ahead of time. I imagined that there was a special group cruise but maybe you guys are right about Journey cruises selling out quickly. I'm so excited about this cruise. I'm packed already.

I stayed at the O'Donnell Street Best Western this month and last September. Always ask for a high floor with a city view. Both times I stayed there were great- well organized free shuttle service both ways. They pick you up at the scheduled time and are waiting to pick you up at the first exit as soon as you get off the ship.

I travel with my wheelchair bound cousin and everyone was so helpful. There is a free shuttle to the inner harbor area. For safety sake, I would never travel/ walk around an area that I am unfamiliar with and I did park under a light pole. The only problem I had when I returned was the birds got me good and I still need to wash my car.

By all means, people should do what they are comfortable with so they don't have to worry while on vacation.

WOW- now I'm finally finding out what happened with my debit card charges from England. Thanks you guys for helping me solve that mystery. At the time it happened it, I was totally blindsided and it cost me money.

I had to jump on that offer- I'm on the Breeze on 12/6 in an outside cabin for 80.00 (I'm traveling solo unless I find someone). It still costs to get to the ship and a room for the night before but that's not too bad.

I got a second debit card solely for the cruise. I got mine from my credit union.
