The last cruise to be cancelled is on April 20 th and then they will restart so our cruise starts 5 weeks later hopefully

Phuket is fantastic for beaches and water and James Bond Island but Bangkok is more about amazing temples and culture . The city is dirty and smelly but amazing! I would choose Phuket but I love the water.

Can anyone suggest a way to get from the port to the airport/ I looked up a taxi...$100 is a lot more than I wish to spend!

Very easily by going to the central station and catching the train I think the cost was about 6 euro

Has anyone taken a ship's tour from Kobe to Kyoto? The description of the tours on Celebrity's web site is really sparse. It only mentions two sights and lunch. Any insight into what you actually saw, what lunch was like, the quality of the guides, etc. would be great! Thank you.

At the port there is a monorail get on that and it will take you to The JR station then it's easy to get the JRtrain cost $8.00 to kyoto.

When you get to Kyoto buy an all day bus ticket and then just go to the golden palace the silver palace and nijo castle by then you will probably be tired come back to kobe on the train. We did it in September from the cruise ship the Diamond Princess and had a fabulous time.

Thank you so much for all the info as we are doing an 18 day trip on the ship on august31 We are hoping that they will iron out some of the issues but also looking forward to enjoying a different Diamond since we have sailed on her 3 times previously.

Does anyone on this thread have any information on excursions at all We are hoping to hear about any that you did???We are from Australia and I have to say that nude bathing will not be a big winner over here even if it is with the same sex.
