In 2024, planning Celebrity Edge from Honolulu to Vancouver and Vancouver to Seattle (Alaska).
I am wondering about the challenges of packing for such diverse climates. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to upgrade before you sail?
-
I ordered this one - hoping it will work. I take my first MSC cruise in May.

Thank you!

I will be sailing on MSC Divina and have a few questions about the yacht club experience
1. Can I arrive at port at any time or do I have to wait for my 1:30 embarkation time?
2. Is there shade on the stateroom balcony?
3. I understand that there is no shade on the Yacht Club pool deck. Can you request an umbrella?
4. Are there umbrella’s on ocean cay in the yacht club area?
Thanks for your help!

Amazing the differences in prices of those little plastic holder. I guess I was being cheap and ordered a 2 pak since I had plenty of time. I think it took 5 days to arrive.
This makes me giggle! I am a meeting planner and these are name badge holders. I pay 23 cents a piece for them!
Someone is making a killing!

I don't know if I am spoiled, but Hillsborough County (FL) offers free antigen (rapid) tests with results in under one hour. No appointment necessary.
With the increased spread, I am glad they cut it down to 2 days. It may identify more positive cases before boarding.

I can’t speak for explorer, but I was recently on Mariner and was able to teach a class live using zoom and the ships voom. I still can’t believe it worked, but am so excited because it opens up a whole lot of telecommuting possibilities for me.

We are flying into Orlando next month to cruise on Oasis. Are there any hotels somewhere between the airport and Port Canaveral?
We are sailing on Oasis tomorrow (Oct 15) and are staying at the Homewood Suites. It’s our second time using this hotel before a cruise and we could not be happier. A hot breakfast and reception (mon - thu) are included. The pool and deck area are great with a tiki bar and fire feature. You can see the ships in port too!
We had dinner tonight at fishlips. I would recommend this place or if you are in Cocoa, try long doggers.

Violation Passenger Vessel Service Act???
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
DH and I booked Edge for May of 2024. 10-Day Hawaii Cruise - Honolulu to Vancouver. Then we booked a 6-day Alaska Cruise - Vancouver to Seattle.
Today we received an email saying we are in violation of the Passenger Vessel Services Act.
Why can Celebrity sail from Hawaii to Vancouver and that not be a violation?
Why can Celebrity sail from Vancouver to Alaska and back to Seattle and that not be a violation?
But it becomes a violation when you put the two cruises back to back?
Why does booking a back-to-back-to-back that uses a Canadian port remove the violation?
Someone, please explain this to me.
