Thanks for all the responses! :) I'm not going to stress out too much cos I'm hoping even if we miss our tour, there might be other tour operators at the terminal that we could sign up with. Can anyone let me know if you've noticed different tour operators at the terminal in GC?

I'm pretty sure Grand Cayman is a tender, not a dock. Could someone else please chip in for verification? :)

Also, did you sign your child into the kids' club in the evenings so you could go to the shows? I'm wondering how we will manage to get to the shows or enjoy some of the evening life when our kids tend to be in bed by 8. Thanks again! :)

We'll be getting in the morning before our cruise in February and staying at the Hilton Miami Downtown. We'll have some time to hang out during the day since I assume they won't let us check in before the check in time of 3pm. Could someone please let me know the best way to get to Lummus Park Beach? Would it be easiest to just take a taxi? There will be my husband and I and 2 small kids.

I'm looking at the Deauville Beach Resort or the Miami Beach Resort. Trip advisor reviews are so extreme in terms of good reviews and bad reviews for each, I don't know what to think! lol. We just want a safe, clean place on the beach, nothing fancy. We're really laid back people. We don't need much. :)

Our dates our February 27th till the 28th. We'd like to stay under $300 if possible. We'll be travelling with 2 young kids and luggage, so as much as the bus is the cheapest, it's probably not the most practical option for us.

What's that? Is that an airport shuttle?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there are any hotels right on the beach in Miami that offer shuttles to/from the Airport and the Port of Miami? We're coming in a day before the cruise and would like to be on the beach if possible. If we can find a hotel that at least has a shuttle from the airport, that would be a huge plus since I'm not sure how much cab fare from the airport and to the port would be. Thanks! :)
