We just did the 8 day cruise on the Miracle out of Tampa on April 14th. There were no excursions planned earlier for us either. During muster drill he heard other guests talking about added excursions. We went to the shore excursion desk to inquire. They were offering 4 different excursions that were not posted earlier. We signed up for an 8 hour excursion that would have picked us up from the ship to a smaller boat and cruised thru the locks and would have visited some of the villages. Two days later we had a note in our cabin that all of those excursions would be cancelled. There was too much traffic going thru the canal that day to make it work. This possibility was mentioned to us when we signed up for it. It was disappointing, but we knew it might happen. We did enjoy watching it from different parts of the ship throughout the day.We are going on the 8-day partial transit out of Tampa in Sept and there are no excursions offered on the transit day. We will stop in Colon and Grand Cayman. I liked it because it was just 8 day cruise.Sent from my SM-G930T using Forums mobile app

Great review. We were on the Miracle right behind you.

My hubby loves the remedy. He asked the bartender on the Miracle last week to add some fruit to it to come up with a different taste. It ended up light red in color and she called it "The Wisconsin" from our great state! Yuliana was the best. He drank it all week long.

Great review Nicole. Cam you please let me know the excursion company you used for Nevis. We visited last year and going back again in 2019. Sounds like a great way to spend the day.Ellory drove us back to the pier to meet back up with our water taxi and we parted there, with him asking us to leave reviews online if we enjoyed our tours (so, consider this that!). And as we began the 45-minute ride back to the ship, with a reggae version of Baby I Love Your Way playing on a speaker and the sea spray misting my face as the bow of the boat plowed through the waves, I could not have been happier or more at peace. Nevis and this entire excursion was beyond any expectations or hopes I could have had.We got back to the ship at 4:30 PM – just when all aboard was scheduled. There were dozens of people standing around the deck three promenade watching for pier runners and as Stephanie reminded me, we were the people we’re always watching for!
Back at the room, Mom was literally sitting at the door, waiting for us to get back. She may or may not have called guest services twice to make sure the ship wouldn’t leave without us. And she had room service peanut butter and jelly sandwiches waiting for us so we’d have a snack when we got back. I love those room service PB&J’s. They’re the perfect post-excursion snack.

My 30th wedding is next April, and my dh and booked the Conquest 8 day southern Caribbean cruise! Splurging on a balcony on the lido deck...I've heard so many good things about these ports...can't wait!
Congrats on 30 years. What sailing are you doing? We are booked on the Conquest April 1st.

We just got off the Breeze on Sunday. The gift was the packing cube.

What excursions did you do at each port?

We had 10205 on the breeze a few weeks ago loved loved LOVED this room my DH even liked it more than a balcony, price may have done something to cause this but it was a great room, and the deck outside was a great spot almost never anyone else out on it.
We have this room in March. Do you have any pictures?

We loved our PVP. He left a couple years ago with no notice to us as well. When I called his extension to inquire about a cruise, another gentleman answered. When I asked to speak with our "normal" PVP, he said he never heard of him. I replied this has been the same extension I have reached him at for years. His reply was, not possible, I've had this same extension forever. I felt I was in a twilight zone episode. We have stayed with this one since then, but he will never be as good as our original one.

Great review. We were on this same cruise. We also went to Santa Barbara in Curacao. That is one of the prettiest resorts we have been to. I definitely would go back for a week vacation there.

Thanks for the info.

Enjoying your review. We will be sailing next June. Is there an adult only pool on the Sunshine? I really enjoy this area on the ships that have it, especially when traveling with no kids.

Did the sunshine have an adults only pool? We just got off the liberty on Sunday and enjoyed that area very much.

We just got off the Liberty this past Sunday. We requested a fan after boarding and it was delivered to our cabin a couple hours later.

Rwombough;
Can you please share your issues with Spencer, we have a tour planned with him in 3 weeks.
St. Lucia - booked a tour thru Spencer Tours (if any one wants info on this tour let me know) we had a great tour guide but we also had some issues (nothing that ruined this tour, but made it a little frustrating at times).

Time changes - we were already on a 3 hour time change since we are from the east coast but while on the ship, they changed ahead 1 hour 1 day and the next they changed it back. Cabos is 1 hour ahead and PV is 2. It became pretty confusing for some folks.
Does your comment above mean they didn't stay on ship time? Every Carnival ship I have been on always stays on ship time regardless of what time it is in port.
