During the day you can have beer and wine in the SL without using your vouchers. If you want spirits you’ll need the vouchers. During happy hour you don’t need to use them while eating dinner in CK.
Thank you. We have been getting the beverage package for several years now but the prices are crazy right now. It isn’t worth the flexibility.

All of the menu postings are making me hungry but I have a SL question. We are in a CLS on our upcoming Allure cruise and are D+. Do we need to use our drink vouchers in the SL? Also if we have dinner in the CK during Happy Hour do we have to use a drink voucher for wine with our dinner?

I wonder if Royal will have a testing site at the terminal in Southampton. We are booked on the Anthem transatlantic this May from Cape Liberty to Southampton…Unfortunately we have to fly back to the US the day we disembark.

Ok, I’m getting worried after reading this. I booked Jewel today for the 7 August sailing. I also booked our flights through Air2Sea and it went smoothly. We are arriving on 6 August. We always arrive at least the day before at the latest. Do you think there will be a problem staying a day before getting i
on the ship. These COVID times seem to be changing all of the rules🤷♀️. On the way home we are flying thru Heathrow but our flight to the States doesn’t leave until the next day. If we stay at the Hilton at Terminal 5 will there be a problem for us, as US citizens, in these COVID times. I hope this makes sense🥴

We are concerned about getting the vaccine because of low platelets and headaches from brain bleeds. Also an existing brain aneurism in me. It seems that some of the deaths from the vaccine were due to hemorrhaging. We both had COVID in July. We love cruising but are leary of the vaccine for these reasons. idk

We are on Quantum in 4 weeks and currently following live postings on that other site. On the current sailing Solarium is no fee and looks very similar menu to those posted here. I'll update when we sail.
Thank you, have a great cruise

A Solarium Bistro question with a twist. For anyone who has sailed on Quantum and Ovation, is the Solarium Bistro a Hot Pot restaurant in the evening when sailing from Singapore?

Hi...my name is Paige, and I am 3yrs old. I really wanted to ride a water slide in the new Splash Away Bay, but I wasn't allowed. You see, I am 40 inches tall and fully potty trained. There are 2 areas in Splash Away Bay with slides. I must be 42 inches to ride the pink slide and 45 inches to ride the yellow slide.
There is 1 additional slide in the baby area, but this one only allows toddlers who are NOT potty trained and must wear swim diapers.
I was so disappointed!
Thank you for the heads up. We will be taking 4 grandkids with us, the youngest will have just turned 4.

We will be in Georgetown in Sept. The one place my BIL wants to visit is the Hard Rock Cafe. Does anyone know of excursions that include a stop there? Or perhaps the cost of a taxi to get there?

I am waiting for quotes for three different European cities. I figured that it is basically free right now. But I am also curious about how overpriced they will be. The program won'last if they price themselves out of the market. I tend to do both private and cruise line sponsored tours depending on the port and my interests.

Supposedly March 6 was the last cruise for D+ in the Suite Lounge. However, last I heard was that might be delayed until the May first Suite benefits kick in. I will find out myself next week [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]
Carolyn,
Will you please also find out about the 11am-11pm soda/beer/wine availability that was brought up some posts back? Thanks

We were on Freedom in November and were told that the Next Cruise office was expanding into the Cafe Prominade area (not taking it over) maybe this is what you heard

Thank you for your comments. We will be on Freedom on 4 weeks for a B2B. It will be our first time on Freedom. We will be in 1406 just down from where you were, also aft. How did you hang your hammock? Do you think it might work on our balcony? I can't tell from looking at pictures where to hang it from.

Thank you

I wish I was more organized! Once again, what is the email address to reach the conceirge on any ship? I know that he/she will contact me but I would like to get on the list for a cabana at Labadee.
-
I also just booked an over the water cabana and it does not seem to include a cooler and water. Cut backs, I guess.

We were on Radiance this past May b2b Alaska. I specifically chose a forward balcony on Deck 7 (the extended ones). I felt that we would have a more unobstructed view (less overhang). I would definitely book it again,7036 or any one of those. It was our first E3, we usually go with suites, and the size of the room is obviously smaller but it worked fine. With less overhang our room was nice and bright which made it feel a little bigger. Just my opinion.

In Fall 2013 the shuttle was $14 per person for unlimited rides.

The difference is the location on the ship but it is very subjective. The size of the cabins are the same.

Wonderful review. I am reliving our vacations thru your review. We will be taking our first Celebrity cruise, it will be on Reflection also leaving from Rome so I am very interested in any pictures and all of your thoughts on the ship. Your writing style is very easy and enjoyable to read.

Sorry, my experience is with 1688 only as we joined some friends there for a sailaway.
A very helpful source is the S Class Cabin thread.

Thank you so much.

With 1688 on the Reflection, you will have a great aft view, but an obstructed view to the starboard side.
Thank you So do you know if the port side has the same problem and if all of the corner afts have the obstruction. Do they all have the side window? Sorry I am just now starting to learn about Celebrity ships so it's a long learning curve.

The Aft corner cabins on every deck are S1's
I'm sorry I guess I should have said SS-1688. I am currently booked in that specific cabin and I am concerned about the window washing equipment that other people have referred to for the same cabins but on deck 10. This SS is on deck 11. Also people say that the corner aft S1's on deck 10 also have a window/porthole on the side. Does anyone know if this is also true for the SS-1688 on deck 11?
Thank you for any information

We are just back from out first TA. We were on Serenade of the Seas in JS1100. We loved the corner aft so now I am in the process of booking our first Celebrity cruise on the Reflection Fall 2016 TA. I am looking at 1688 which looks like a corner aft. Can anyone tell me about this cabin. I looked on the Sticky and found afts on deck 10. They all mentioned window washing equipment obstructing part of the view. Will this also be a problem for deck 11?
