  1. Hi Wennfred.

Question, you said that you bought a 3 pack of tests, can 3 different people use the tests or are they only good for the person who purchased the tests? When I went to make the purchase it asks questions about the person making the purchase. So I stopped to look for answers. I have a large group cruising in December and wanted to know if I could purchase 5 2-packs or if I need to purchase 10 of these things? Appreciate any help!

Successfully completed the eMed at home Covid test this morning and printed out the results. Sailing onboard Carnival Panorama this Saturday. For those traveling this weekend,  Have a safe trip.

I’ve used Carbon Health at the San Diego Airport, $150.00 for the PCR test and you get the results on their App by 5:30am the next morning. So you test Thursday afternoon and Friday morning you get your results.

This time I went with the eMed at home test kit using my Laptop with a built in webcam. You can use your cellphone or tablet, IPad etc with a working webcam. I paid $107.00 total for 3 test kits. It’s $70.00 for 2 kits on the Optum store.

This test takes about 30 minutes to complete and you’re done.

  2. How long did it take to hear back from Carnival? Thanks for the heads up too!

Heads up - Shore Excursioneer is advertising the same excursion as Carnival for $59.99 and the Carnival excursion is $104. You can book through Carnival and file a claim for the price protection guarantee for 110% on board credit for the difference. Our claim was granted and we were given $49 on board credit for the price difference. However, after further research, we are going to cancel our Carnival excursion reservation and book directly with DSRR bus rentals so we can do all 27 falls.
  3. Wonder if you are looking at the Aug 2 sailing? That is the one we are booked on. We have been on the Pacific once before and loved it.

I do get seasick but will be taking my meclizine for sure. I hope that it won't be too rough, but can't do anything about it. We really want to do this itinerary with our son who will be on leave from the USCGA.

That is the itinerary that we are looking at but, with the cost and I want a balcony this will be a 2020 cruise. Hope you have a wonderful time! Would love to see a review.

  4. I'm looking at a cruise with Princess to Ireland/Scotland/England. This is a completely new to me. Question, not sure if anyone could help. My question is about the water out that way. The boat that I'm looking at is very small compared to what my family is use to. It's the Pacific Princess. It's only 30,000 some tons, almost 600 feet. I've never been sea sick on a cruise ship before, but was totally sick on a gambling cruise that was not very far off the shore. I think it was 200 and some feet. Wondering if I could get some feed back from anyone that can compare 100,000 to 30,000 tons out in waters in the United Kingdom in the month of August. I know this sounds crazy, and everyone feels differently on ships but I really don't want to waste the money if I want be able to enjoy the cruise. ;) Thanks in advance for any help!
