Silly question - I saw someone's picture today of their RCI luggage tags and they look like they are shorter/wider than the usual RCI long/skinny tags. Did they change the shape of the tags? I hope not, because I have those nice little holders I like so much.

NO, I just printed mine and they fit nicely in the plastic tag holders.

No. When you check in at the port just give them the card you want to use for your shipboard expenses. Have fun on your cruise.

You should let your stablemates and the wait serve team know. In this way, they will not delay serving the others thinking you will be dining that evening.:)

Hair dryers in every room, but they are really low wattage. There is no weight restriction, however, you should have sturdy luggage and label it HEAVY if it weighs more than 50 Lbs. You children can definitely wear dress shorts for non-formal notes. Bring a multi plug outlet so that you can plug in more than one thing. You can carry on water bottles either in checked or carry on luggage.

You can buy it online and I also found some in Target a while back. You should use the biodegradable sunscreen to protect the reef system don't listen to folks who don't give a hoot and use the regular stuff. SAVE THE PLANET!

I just returned from a cruise on the Celebrity Reflection. I dined in the MDR for 4 nights. The food was very good. It arrived hot, there was a good variety and choice each night and the service staff was excellent. I have also cruised on the Solstice and Equinox. I would rate the food in the MDR of those ships and the Reflection as better than Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Holland America. The only cruise MDR food that I found to be better than Celebrity was on the Disney Magic.

You should have platinum for this cruise since you will become platinum by the end. However, you should just check it out with the Carnival folks.

I have eaten and had frozen drinks and drinks with ice at all the Caribbean ports I have traveled to. I have also traveled to Cozumel, Cancun, the Riviera Maya and have never gotten sick. I have a sensitive stomach and always carry Imodium, but I have never needed it. I have never eaten anything from a vendor stall. Drink bottled beer if you feel the place may be questionable and stay away from salads. Also bring wet ones and you can wipe off utensils and the tops of soda cans to be on the safe side. If you don't want to be adventurous then take bottled water from the ship with you and bring a snack from the ship.

Food taste is really relative. That being said, I much preferred the quality and diversity of the food served on Celebrity than RCL. I found that the food in the buffet areas on Celebrity are kept hotter, the area is cleaner and rotated frequently. Also on the solstice class ships, the buffet is split up into different areas so there really is never too much of a back or long lines. The ambience is great. OH, their specialty restaurants are fabulous.

Yes you can bring a curling iron and/or flat iron. They have blow dryers in the cabins. On every cruise I have been on I also brought a very small steamer and to date it has never been confiscated even though a few times I left it in full view in my cabin. I put it in my suitcase. It comes in a bag and does not look like the average steamer. It sort of looks like a carafe.

I would wait until you board the ship. You can make reservations the very first day. My experience as I have dined in all the specialty restaurants on the Reflection and booked them the first or second day. I had no problem getting a preferred reservation time. I am a select Captain's Club member, so I don't know if that made a difference. The Tuscan Grill was fabulous for the view and food. The Lawn Club was a great experience and the food was awesome. QSine is kind of eclectic and fun. All restaurants had great service.
