The first sailing from Italy has been cancelled.

    Hi Sidari,

    What date it was cancelled?

I see in MSC site that from Barcelona the first sail it's 13th August and from Genoa the first available date it's 22th August, so it's a little confuse.

Thanks for your information in this subject.

  2. Hi everybody,

I talked with my TA, because I’ll sail on 20th August about this situation. He told me that talked with MSC office and they told him, they had no information about any cancelations after 13th August (first sail scheduled for Seashore from Barcelona).

Right now, I’m more optimist about my summer vacations.

  3. Hi,

Any news about the beginning of Seashore sailings?

I’m booked for the 20th August sailing and I’m a little worried about the delay and the possibility of needing to find alternatives to August holidays.

Thanks to all fellow members for the information’s they give to all community.

  4. Hi,

I have a booking for MSC Seashore, sailing from Barcelona on August. I'm trying to add the drink package and can't finish the process (browser stays "thinking" forever!).

    Anyone have the same problem?

  5. Not to hijack your thread, but I will try to answer your question and then make a new one for myself. As I searched Glyfada and Paleokastritsa are the most beautiful beaches closed to Corfu town (about 30 mins drive), and you can reach them by public bus or by taxi.

I made an email to Corfu Taxi Tours and they want 100€ to the transfer of 4 person to each of those beaches. Do you thing the price is fair or it’s a little bit priced?

I also thought in renting a car for the time we will be in Corfu (07:00am – 03:00pm), but although cheaper I don’t know if the different is enough to compensate the comfort of having a taxi bringing in and out at time we want. What’s your opinion about that?

  6. You can buy tickets before.....but I'm not sure if you skip the queue as walked back.....easy if your relatively fit.

I already had that idea but with 2 daughters (9 and 3 years old) I’m not sure if that would be a good idea.

    Thank you for your help.

  7. You can pay extra 5 Euro and include cable car on return to ship for 20 Euro all up

    Hi,

Will be in Santorini next August with the Jade and we follow with attention all the posts regarding to Santorini.

Are you sure we can buy the ticket to the cable car when you buy the transfer to Oia? This is a wonderful news, because we don´t need to be in the queue to buy the ticket. I guess we can save some time when returning to ship!

Thanks for all the information and photos you share,

  8. Hi,

Will be in the Jade sailing from Venice on August 20th and I thought someone could help me in a tendering question. We will be in Santorini from 14:00h to 22:00h, and as I want to do it on our own we want to leave ship in first tender. How is the process in the Jade? First arrive or we can pre book the time?

Thank you very much for your help.

  9. To clarify my options, we will be in NYC the week before the cruise, so will have many time to see the city. At the end of cruise we have all the luggage with us so need something to do/see without carrying with us in hand. That why I thought in renting the car to go to airport and make some shopping in the why.

My question is in matter of time to drive from renting place to mall and then to Jfk. The fact of beeing easter day and the shops are closed is another important question!

  10. To me $179 a head for 5 rides is not even close to being worth the money. WCW is an all day (open to close) affair. We have always visited off season, and even then it was hard to see everything we wanTed to do in the Magic Kingdom in a single day.

Keep in mind you are there during a major spring break week. There is always a chance the Magic Kingdom could reach maximum capacity by the time you arrive , which would make you have to pick one of the other parks.

In my opinion, you would be better served doing something else in Canaveral and plan a WCW only trip sometime in the future .

If you do decide to do the excursion, forget all the sit down dining suggestions , they will just burn up time better served doing rides. Remember what you are paying for.

    Hi,

Sorry I didn't remember that someone had answer that question. Due to Easter week and Spring Break I've decided no to ego inside Magic Kingdom, instead I will pay the transfer with NCL to Transportation center and then have dinner with Cinderella at 4:30pm in Grand Floridian because my daughter wants to take pictures with Cinderella. During our free time maybe we go to Downtown to "see" the place (I know it's under construction!) because I never been there.

After dinner I return to TC with the train or the Bus! I feel sorry not going to MK but I don't want to spend all that money and don't be able to have fun in the park because of the crowds.

  11. Hi,

Can anyone that have made the transfer to Disney with NCL tell me the exact time the bus leaves the transportation center to Port Canaveral?

Like I told in a previous post Disney suggests to give 1h30m to exit the park if using the Disney Train to go to Transportation Center, but where in CC said that 15 min would be enough. I'm trying to plan the exact time of my Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa dinner with Cinderella.

Thank you all for your great help.

  12. Hi,

I’m a little confused with all the suggestions you give me. First I decided not to go to park because of the crowds, now a few suggest staying away from Downtown. I never been in Disney, I don’t know when or if I’ll be again in Florida because we live in Portugal and the flights are very expensive and we are a family of four, and I’ve been in Miami 2 times and never really thought visit Orlando and Disney. But this time my daughter tells me that she loves to go there. So, I want very much to visit Disney, but it’s not a must do before die. I don’t want to spend the money in the park ticket and stay out of the park, so I don’t care if I’ll not be able to see much, that’s ok, only I want it’s to be there and see something that my daughters will not forget the rest years because they were at the Disney.

So I’m trying to plan my day to be able to see something in Downtown then go to Grand Floridian and return in time to bus without stress.

Someone can tell me when will finish the dinner that started at 5pm.

Thanks in advance for all the good advices.

  13. Hi,

I'm trying to schedule my afternoon on Disney, and I want to book the dinner with Cinderella to 5pm. What is the duration of the dinner at Grand Floridian with the characters? I don't know exactly what time we need to be at transportation center to catch the bus to port, but I suppose that will be more or less at 7:30. Disney advises to keep 1:30h to leave if using the park transportation.

I planned to be at transportation center at 2pm, than using the train to Polynesian Resort and after the bus to Downtown at 2:45-3pm.

Hang around Downtown till 4:30-4:45pm and than catch the bus again to Grand Floridian to dinner at 5pm.

At the end of dinner catch the train to transportation center.

What do you think about that plan?

  14. That's a wonderful notice because I have another daughter with 2,5 years at the time of the trip and that way I will be able to take her with us and I'm sure that she will love that.

NCL only charges if we want a seat for her, so I need to see how much that will be but I thing that want be prohibitive and all the family can have the fun of "having" the Disney spirit.

    Thanks for your help!

  15. lcantw3658's idea is excellent. You will not need a ticket for Downtown Disney or Disney transportation. For a special treat for your daughter you could make a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment for a princess makeover before heading over to the Grand Floridian for the Cinderella and Friends dinner.

But I'll need a one day ticket to go dinner with the characters?
