I would guess that this would work as well for the flowflex tests.  That is the brand that I got from the Gov't.  They offer a Video Proctor for $20.

About how long did it take for Verifly to approve the test results?

Will Azova or iHealthLabs provide online proctored service for non-Azova, iHealth or Gov't tests?  Someone traveling in our group has access to the BinaxNOW tests through his gig in the public service works.  Just not sure how to arrange the online proctored test part.

I found a catamaran tour with someone called Captain Bryan. Anyone tried them before? Otherwise the only one I could found was a lot pricier with RedSail.

Oh...I am waiting to hear back from Cap't Marvin.  No reply yet.  We are on the same cruise in May.  🙂

    How many in your group?

Looking for a beach club that offers chairs and umbrellas and food and drink on Seven Mile Beach? TIA

It's been pretty quiet in here with GC being closed for the past two years.  Ships just started returning this week with the Disney Magic yesterday (I think) and Carnival Glory pulling away as I type this.  So hopefully folks will start to report back soon how it's going and giving feedback on things to do there and who they used.

Stingray Sailing is the best!  I tried to book them for my upcoming cruise in July and their response is below.  I am sooo bummed. 😞

"Unfortunately, due to cayman government, our crew was forced to take normal 9-5 jobs for the remainder of 2022. Our operation is only able to offer weekend private charters. We hope you be back up and operational fully in 2023."

Ya....I got the same email yesterday.  Grand Cayman, provided we get there in May, could be interesting.  Hoping folks will start posting up here with info/experiences.  The Disney Magic was supposed to be there yesterday and quite a few CCL ships (Paradise, Glory, Sunrise) along with Celebrity and Princess ships stopping this week.  Will see have to see if there are any live threads for any of these cruises as well.

  5. Such quietness here, but understandable. Hopefully things keep on going in a positive direction.

Anyone have any suggestions for a catamaran tour in GC?

We are a party of 14.

    TIA!

  6. Hi everyone.  Decided just recently to get back into the cruising game after a near 2.5 year break.  Looking to see if anyone has or can point me in the direction of the MDR menus for Horizon's 6 day sailings.  Trying to find those menus so we can plan specialty restaurants.  Perhaps things are still fluid so even if there are recent menus out there, may not be consistent.

Either way, trying to avoid the mad dash once on board.

but pride has the retractable roof so indoor swimming, correct?

Even with a retractable roof, I believe the pool water is from the ocean...brrrrrrrr.  I say that as someone from SFLA who shrivels at the thought of water below the temp of 80.  :classic_huh:  The temp of the water of Palm Beach County is hovering around 78.  The temps off of NC in March tend to be in the 65 to <65 range.  Yikes.

I also agree, on the 7 day cruise.  You will more than likely see families vs. college folks.  We took a 4 day RCL cruise last spring break is there were more College folks than we saw on any prior Spring Break Cruises that are 6, 7 or 8 days cruises.  We had a great time...like a throw-back College Spring Break!!! 🙂

    Either way...enjoy your cruise!!!

I would seriously consider just paying as he goes.  I don't know how much a 21 year old can drink and maybe having 15 drinks available per day is too much for a "newbie" drinker.   If there is any problem with his ordering a drink after he turns 21, just go to guest services and they should be able to handle it for you.  I do, however, believe that you have until the second day to buy the cheers package and the drinks you ordered and paid for the day before get zeroed out.  Good luck and happy birthday!
