I was on the crystal with a girlfriend about five years ago but did not pay any attention to the men's dress. My boyfriend is very casual. He will bring a dark suit and a sports jacket but what can he we:confused:ar for dinner. Does he have to have a button down shirt or can he wear a collared shirt sans jacket. Also can he wear bermuda shorts while in port and for breakfast or lunch?

What is the ideal week to go? I am considering Avalon because it seems the rooms are larger and the price is less. How does it compare to other river cruise lines and HOW is the food?

I went on a Danube river cruise with Tauck and I was underwhelmed. I would like to take the spring tulip cruise. I would like a cruise line with good food and a bedroom that is bigger than 152 sq feet. What would you recommend?
