    Pretty straightforward  for mobility-impaired.

Taxi can drop you where the white van is. And on the other side of the road is a taxi rank for getting back to the ship or wherever.

Spin the camera round to see the  outer gate. Look thro the gate - behind the balustrading in the background you can just see the top of the inner gate.

Looking back to the outer gate.

Spin the camera and you'll see a choice of steps or ramp to the inner gate.

The walled town is almost al level ground, and the harbour is about 450 yards from the gate.

Wow, thanks.  Being able  to see it visually was wonderful!

Hi garden girl. Check in was a breeze. Just do a covid home test with no supervision required and take proof of the negative test and your good to go.

In Lisbon this morning and when the sun was out it was nice and warm. Had a deluge of rain hit us when in the square but we had brought our waterproof jackets so it wasn’t a problem.

What are people wearing to the Main Dining Room?

  3. That my fellow cruisers is about all the photos, 360 pictures, videos I have to share.

We already booked our next trip on the Oasis towards the end of next year. Our plan is to book a "last minute" deal in the Springtime for an affordable cruise. We are also excited that Royal announced that the Harmony will be moving to Port Canaveral in 2019! It will give us a new option close to home.

    To wrap up...

As you can see from my previous posts, we LOVED pretty much everything on this trip! Was it perfect... no. But all in all we had almost no complaints. I was really impressed with how Royal Caribbean does business. I am a "die hard" convert from Carnival... probably not. I am still a value cruiser and will follow my wallet. Carnival has made this much more difficult as their prices are almost (if not more than) on par with Royal Caribbean based on my research.

Thank you to everyone for all the nice and heartfelt thank you's! I have really learned so much from "lurking" on these boards for the last few years... I felt it was duty to try to give back! I hope I helped! :)

Please keep the questions coming if you have any I can help with.

    Peace and Love,

    Steve

My only question is when do you book the shows and events...before the cruise or while on board?

  4. We are going on QV next week for the first time in a few years. We did a 2 nighter in 2012 but it was 2010 since we were on board for any length of time.

We are in one of the metal fronted balconies on Deck 4, an upgrade from the obstructed view I originally booked.

So, any advice from more recent QV travellers ? Or anything you would like me to check out ?

    Thanks

How much do you pay for drinks and extras on a cruise like this. Thinking of going across the ocean because we hate to fly.
