We were going for our 45th anniversary this year, 2020, with our family.

Hopefully we will celebrate our 46th anniversary in 2021 with the family

We are flying in a day early to Anchorage before our land tour.  We have scheduled a tour with Salmonberry Tours to go to Turnagain arm, Wildlife Conservation Center, and Girdwood.

We are hopefully doing the catamaran from Copper River to Valdez next summer. Any info on that would be appreciated.  Are there places to eat when you get to Valdez, before getting on the catamaran?  What is the scenery like on the trip? When you get to Whittier, how do you get from the catamaran to the boat?

we had the money for the 2020 trip refunded.  When COVID all started, I made a refundable deposit on the 2021 cruise for same trip, time etc.  When the 2020 trip got cancelled, we just moved most things over to the 2021 trip and got refunds on the 2020 trip. 

We had a connoisseur land/cruise trip to Alaska planned for our two daughters and us for July, 2020 for our 45th anniversary with two mini suites.  We got cancelled so we moved the trip to July 2021 and upgraded to vista suites for both cabins. Our final payment is due March, 2021.  Since we are paying for both cabins/suites it would save us approximately $1250 for each suite or $2500 plus all four of us would get the $100 obc.  If we left it where it is, we would get approximately $250 in interest until March.

Since we were planning on this being a celebration, we have the money saved to go ahead and pay anytime.  It is the the future of Princess that concerns me.   
We are going to be discussing this as a family the next few days.  We aren’t going to do anything for the next month to see where things are .

I am feeling very lucky right now.  We are taking an Alaska Cruise hopefully July 8. We are taking our daughters and had booked 2 club class mini Suites.  The upgrade fairy (my TA) just called and we were upgraded to 2 vista suites.  This is for our 45th anniversary.  Just to play safe, we did book another cruise for next year just to play safe with a refundable deposit . I am really hoping this is the year we get to go.

We are going in July, 2020, connoisseur land and cruise. We have reservations for whale watching in Juneau, the Hubbard glacier expedition reserved and paid, on a list for Chilkoot to notify us in October when they open bookings for next year.  We are working with travel agent, already on Tundra tour but waiting for Kantishna tours to open for next year, she has it on a watch list.  We are too early to book flights (for another month) but are ready to book some tours in Anchorage for pre-trip once we get our flights

Does anyone know when expeditions for land tours (for the connoisseur tour)will open for 2020?

We are doing a connoisseur tour on the Coral in July, 2020 for our 45th Anniversary.  We are taking our 2 grown daughters to help celebrate.  We have booked 2 club class mini suites for us.  I will be anxiously reading your trip for suggestions and ideas.  We went to Alaska land/cruise in 2012 with friends. We are taking a different route on land this time to change things up
