The biggest disappointment for me,  the only adult pool on the ship is located in the Sanctuary which of course requires you to pay to use it. 

Can anyone recommend a car service to take us from SEA airport to our downtown hotel?

We’re on the Ruby Princess. We’ve missed two ports, Playa del Carmen and Roatan because of high winds and unable to dock. Our next stop is Cozumel and the Captain is trying to secure a berth to overnight. Disappointing to miss 2 ports but we’re making the best of it. 
 

Looking  for dinner suggestions in Cozumel with a sunset view. We’re docking at Puerto Maya but are willing to take a taxi.

My first Celebrity cruise last month, I ordered grits for room service breakfast. They served it to me in a big cereal bowl and the grits had the consistency of cream of wheat. They also thought I might need sugar as there were several packets provided. . Appreciated the effort but not quite. :D

I cruise 10/1 and my TA received the upgrade call today. Offered $500.00 to go from guarantee inside to HH outside fully obstructed view . I turned it down. Their offer is more than their website price and also the rack rates my TA can get. :eek: I meant to add this is a single rate.

Hi Lois, I'm sailing out of JAX in May. I sailed from there before when the Celebration was there.

I'm probably going to stay at the HI near the airport. I've stayed there before and really liked it. I also thought about staying downtown on the river but wasn't sure?

I'm coming in 2 days before, any suggestions for a solo to do for sightseeing in Jax? I will have a car. thanks for your help. :)

I snagged a 1A on the Transatlantic Cruise on the Carnival Dream next October. This one is the very first cabin on Riviera Deck with portholes. And it has a single bed and a sofa. I can't wait. How do I go by making sure that Carnival doesn't give me a so called "upgrade" to an inside cabin. I want to make sure I keep that cabin unless they are willing to upgrade me to a regular outside or balcony? I don't think I want to spend 16 days without natural light. Last year on the Carnival Freedom I was upgraded to on outside. But I wasn't going solo then.

Tell Carnival if you booked through them directly or your Travel Agent to make sure to notate on your reservation that you don't want an upgrade.

We were just there on Saturday. Went on the recommendations from this board and we had a nice time. Carmen checked us in and we had Raul for our waiter too. Nice place and would go back again.

Hi all, this thread has been very informative. I've been to Cozumel quite a few times but never heard of Playa Uvas. I think we're going to stay the day here for our cruise in May. Do have a question, is it required that you have a ressie or can you just show up? Thanks!

I've had a passport since 9/11. My roommate does not and has decided to go ahead and apply for one for our May 3rd cruise. Does anyone know how long it's been taking to receive it once you've applied for it? I realize what the government website says but I'm trying to get a sense of actually how long it's been taking. What about if it's expedited? It will be issued out of the New Orleans office if it makes any difference. Thanks!.
