Does anyone know if there are any celebrations/Halloween parties onboard? We sail home on Halloween so I was thinking there might be something the day before...I wasn't sure if I should pack the kids some costumes or not. We are sailing on The Dawn.

I just called them...I was surprised to find them open after 9 p on Sunday. It is possible, but depending on the ship and category cabin dictates my penalty. Thanks!

We still want to take a cruise, but friends are going to be in Florida same time and we haven't seen them in years. Just trying to make seeing them before our cruis. They cant go to NOLA unfortunately.

Is it possible to switch ships this late in the game? What are we looking at for penalties? We are booked past guest rate I think. Something unexpected came up and we are thinking of going to Florida instead.

We are staying two nights. FIrst night we get in around 3 pm so we likely wont do too much. Maybe dinner and pool etc. The second full day is my birthday so I want to do something fun and cool. Any suggestions? It's my friend and I...I'm turning 40.

Next question, what would the cost of a cab be from hotel to the port? I figured I'd book a room in downtown near the port, but I couldn't turn down their offer. Thoughts?
