  1. I would also ask Mary Lou's if they will wait if your tender will arrive late. Since they do this all the time, if they don't wait they may have a place where you meet up with them. That would really put your mind at ease along with punkincc's suggestions. Have a great time. Cherie

  2. Thanks....made a reservation; they indicated they couldn't promise a beach front table. Just wondering, if there's wind, does it blow up into your dinner? DH won't be very happy with me.

Went in August and there was no wind. We arrived at the restaurant on time, but my DH couldn't sit at the table because of the sun in his eyes. After about 10 to 15 minutes the sun shifted a little and we sat down.

  3. Where did you find out about Passions on the Beach? Guess reservations far in advance would be advisable if there are limited tables?

Long port time in Aruba (8am to 5pm next day) with not many excursion choices. Been there many times and didn't find anything to keep us there longer than a day.

I found about it on CC. Most likely on the ports board. Also on Trip Advisor. When I made reservations on their website, I stated I would like a table nearest the water. Made ressies soon after my final payment.

  4. I too plan to go to Passions on the Beach in November. When I first went, RCCL stayed in Aruba until 11pm. Don't forget to check out the time of the sunset. There were taxis at the port and the restaurant will call for one when you are ready to return.

  5. In May, I received a letter from AMEX, to correct information in the 2015 Cruise and Land Directory that I received in February. "As of January 1, 2015, Celebrity Cruises is no longer a participating supplier in the Cruise Privileges Program. If you have made a Celebrity Cruises booking after this date, you will not receive Cruise Privileges Program benefits. As a Platinum Card Member, you can continue to receve valuable amenities on sailings of five nights or more with participating cruise lines etc. etc."

  6. I too registered and received a phone call. Told the person I work with a TA. He said since he works for NCL, he can answer any questions I have and was I thinking of cruising any time soon. I told him March, and the type of cabins I was thinking about. He said for my date, there were 5 of one and 2 of another; should he book? I told him no thank you. After more pleasantries we ended phone call. I called my TA and booked. I received a generic email from the PCC introducing himself. If he hadn't called I might still be waffling around and lost out on my first choice staterooms.

  7. DH and I went on the Fantasy last March. It was a dream come true. I couldn't stop grinning.:D Also, first time we ever purchased cruise photos. Hubby was also going from store to store looking for pirate wear. This March we will be celebrating our 48th Anniversary on the Magic. We are 70.

  8. Did you have one of the morning flights?

We have been debating what to do on our next sailing. The 'standard' flight is (if I recall correctly) 10:30am. Staying an extra night in the IC is 220pp. I think I would prefer to have an extra night pre-cruise rather than spend THAT much for a post-cruise night. It is such a let down after being on the ship for 10 days.

    Thoughts?

My flight is 7:50AM!!! on ATN. I debated whether to try to have it changed to the evening; but I just said, "let me go home"

  9. Do they have one in Hawaii? I dont recall one.

IASS Hawaii Lounge. After security checks, proceed to Garden Court (airline lounge area) towards gates 14-23 of the central concourse. Take elevator or stairs to ground level and follow the signs to the lounge.
