We have Cruise Next certificates. And ironically they can’t refund the cancelled certificates for thirty days . Fortunately we had two unused certificates to book the replacement while awaiting the refund. This may irk fans of NCL but the seem not to care one iota of the impact their decisions make on their customers.

This is different from what my experience is. I called on Friday and spoke with an NCL rep and he was able to use my Cruise Next certificates to book me on the Spirit for August of this year. Fortunately I was able to take the offer of the 50% discount for this summers sailing. I thought after reading the cancellation letter that I would have to wait to get to use the certificates, but he was able to process them on Monday with no problem.

Sorry that you are having such issues with trying to rebook.

Not only do you have to pay for the shot and meds, you have to pay for the doc visit as well.  Unlike other cruise lines who don't charge you when you do the right thing and report a GI issue.

We were on the JOY November 24 sailing. When the captain told us that there were still passengers coming ill on our cruise, he stated that any visits to the docs would be free of charge.

  3. Ok.....I spent WAY too much time scrolling through pages and pages on this threa today....and yes - I DID do a "search".....and although all of the perspectives regarding those beloved officers that have left NCL are important.....I truly only want to know some personnel/crew on upcoming cruises....so any input on this area would be greatly appreciated...as I did believe that this was the original point of this thread....
