Anyone had breakfast in crown grill on the Emerald? Is it the same menu as previously?

Hi
DH has nut allergy. Princess cook everything in a separate area of the kitchen . If you make them aware before hand then the head waiter will sort you out. You may need to order a day ahead if you are on fixed dining but it's worth it for the peace of mind. Don't forget to let the Shorex desk know if you have tours booked so they can warn venues in advance if there are meals / snacks provided.

If you want something a bit different try Eze - it's beautiful but not sure if p and o have a tour there.

Try looking at wehatetourism website - we have used them 3 times in Lisbon and they are extremely good and something a bit different

I agree.
For $100 this is the ultimate gift and they will remember it for years.
Simply call Room Service as soon as you board to schedule.
Mike:)
Definitely UBD- this includes a photo so they will have slovenly memento - it does have half a bottle of champagne but you can swap it for a bottle of wine when you confirm aboard if you wish

Hi
Which date are you sailing? If it's sept 16 we have a pretty active roll call if you look on CC
We crossed the Bay of Biscay on the Emerald in May with no problems .Like SwissDave we have only had one rough crossing and that wasn't bad at all . More seasickness aboard in the Caribbean.
Enjoy your cruise on this wonderful ship

Hi
Nice to see that Lady Luck has favoured you , even if not quite what you had hoped for !
My mum always used to refer to slot machines as "one armed bandits " and there is an element of truth in that.
Having never been on the Ruby it is nice to read your updates - where is Sabatini's and Crown grill located and have you tried either out yet?

Hi
I'm also on this cruise and according yo the itinerary we are tendered.
Have been to Gib many times and it is really easy to walk around- takes 15 -20 mins from the dock to town centre .
Does anyone know if there are a lot of ships in with the Emerald ? -
Maybe that's why?
On a cruise earlier this year on her which was full to capacity they tendered in Germany and hired extra local boats in addition to ships tenders to get everyone ashore.

I have had them for progressive boarding and also one for grandparents/ parents taking children on a cruise about necessary paperwork - I must admit like Shogun I was really worried by the first one as I couldn't open it

I am not doubting the OP however I have had personal experience of Princess managing an epileptic crisis and ongoing care over a period of a week and I am a health professional .
I have nothing but praise for the medical team I encountered

Suite passengers can order anything from room service on disembarkation day. That is part of the information included in the suite benefit letter in your stateroom. Because only suite passengers can take advantage of room service on that day the orders are delivered very timely. They only ask that you put out your order form the night before. And you can write in whatever you want.
That's what we found too - looking forward to this less hurried disembarkation breakfast after our next cruise :)

Hi Pam
We are on the sept 16 med medley but not in this cabin - the price was dropped and we decided on a Mini that has the extended balcony E 730 instead. Lovely to hear from you .

we sailed on her twice last year and had a great time- cannot fault the service or staff. Thjey were two of our favourite cruises.

I completed it but it took much longer than 14 minutes if you take into account my terrible maths and several glasses of vino!

Hi
my Princess cruise consultant said on the 11/3/14 at 3 pm - that's UK time so I'm assuming the start of the business day in the US?

PRINCESS 3 for FREE (September 6 – November 19, 2018)
in UK Cruisers
Posted
I asked about the previous offer whilst onboard the Sapphire Princess 10 days ago. That one has free drinks package which was happily being sold to the US passengers onboard but I was clearly informed by the future cruise person onboard that this didn’t apply to UK citizens. She had no real answer as to why . She was helpful in every other respect but it is getting extremely annoying that there is such a disparity.
