Thinking of booking the July 26 sailing, as this will be my 65 birthday and I really don't want to go to a hotel to celebrate. Hopefully not too old for this cruise line? I would love some feedback to push me over the edge to book this cruise. I love the Sprit class ships of CCL and this one, looks really interesting. Can anyone comment about service and food quality? I'm not a foodie, but just kind of like a heads up of what to expect.
Thank you.

Sounds great to me. Safe travels to the pier. I'll make note of the social time and location. Almost packed and the dogs are not happy, as usual.

Our oldest "Rocco" turned 14 today. We got him as a rescue at three. It's tough putting them in a kennel and miss them the whole time away.
We are nervous about this Hurricane coming up this way. We actually live in a hilly area, so flooding is not a concern, but power outages are. We have a generator and expect to be using it. I will be looking so forward to this cruise once we get past this. Oh, and yes, less kids the better! Paul

Hello JC and Eric. Glad to see there will be others from this thread on board. Just made final payment yesterday and restaurant reservations. Things have changed since we were on NCL 12 years ago. A new learning curve so to speak. B2B sounds really nice. We have three dogs and one of which is getting up in age, so longer cruises are difficult. Not too long now.

Hello everyone,
My partner Chuck and I will be on this cruise. Wondering if anyone else in our community will be along for the journey?
It's been a while since we've sailed on NCL and looking forward to it.

Booked a Club Mini-Suite for December 2024. My partner always wanted to sail on the Epic, as it's a one of a kind ship and a bit weird. Hope it's cleaned up by then and wish us luck.

Talked to a friend in Naples a bit ago. They are beginning to put up storm shutters. I thought cruising was a stress reducer! LOL

Supposed to leave on the Paradise tomorrow, Sept. 24th returning on the 29th. DeSantis declared a state of emergency for certain areas. So many questions and no answers at this point. I guess we just have to wait. Please keep the info coming. Thank you Paul

On the Paradise this Saturday, the 24th. Another adventure this time of year. I think Mahogany Bay and Cozumel might not be our ports this time around, but Hello Nassau and a private island???? Who knows? It's an adventure! Right? Getting out of town and Cheers package, I'm happy.
living in Florida and I hope this thing falls apart, but I doubt it, but again, who knows? Enjoy your travels no matter what.

We were on the Magic last Thanksgiving along with a dear friend from England, who never experienced Thanksgiving. Thinking we would have a really nice Turkey Dinner in the MDR, boy were we wrong! It was disgusting..... Every item on the plate was terrible. Wish we knew about the Lido having real Turkey. We were so embarrassed thinking this is our Thanksgiving tradition to someone who never had it before. Wonder how bad Christmas dinner is? LOL

Our May and October 2023 Bermuda cruises just got cancelled. We are so disappointed by this. I called RCCL and no reason was given. We both really looked forward to returning to Bermuda as it's not easy from Florida as it was living in the northeast. Oh well.

We WERE booked on two Bermuda cruises in 2023 from Port Canaveral on Mariner OTS. One in May and the other in October. Received an email from Royal this Am stating both cruises are cancelled. I called Royal and they confirmed this, so I am getting both deposits refunded. We were so looking forward to returning to Bermuda. We used to sail twice a year from the northeast. Living in Connecticut made it an easy cruise with numerous departure ports. Living in Florida now, not so much.
No reason given in letter for cancellations. Covid testing? Now to look at replacement cruises.

You booked this on my birthday and didn't ask us to join you! ☺️

I cancelled my May 10th Elation cruise yesterday. Only put down the $150.00 deposit and final payment due tomorrow. Then I see this thread, so I go into Carnival and sure enough May is unavailable. Oh well, at least I'll get my deposit back...... This on is my third cruise cancelled. At this point, I'm going to wait and see. Now I'm concerned about my eight day Magic cruise November 20th? I think that will sail, but who knows these days.....

BoozinCroozin, we'll have to have a drink if it sails!

I'm tired of this new game. I owe the balance of a May 10th cruise on 2-24-21. I have only deposited $150.00. I know this cruise will be cancelled, but I'm going to do it first. I have had all rescheduled cruises cancelled so far. Now I wonder about my 8 day on Carnival Magic on Nov. 20th?
I was speaking to my consultant at NCL and she told me that they are cancelling through July and hasn't been announced publicly yet.

You would have something to compare Princess and HAL to?

We're on the Dec. 5, 2020 sailing. I doubt its going to happen, but sure would like know for sure in order to make alternate sailing plans....

I have been emailing back and forth today with our PCP regarding our April18th Breeze cruise being cancelled. I told him I'm getting mixed messages about our Mardi Gras cruise for 12-5-2020. I said the first available cruise is March 2021 I see from Carnival's website! For what its worth he told me the 12-5-2020 cruise is still "active"...…. Now what does that mean in real life?????
-
We are booked on the Breeze for April 18th. It sounds like we won't be going and I'm not upset. I wish they had made their announcement today though. We are also booked on the Mardi Gras for Dec. 5th. It sounds like that we won't be going on that one also. I wonder if the ship yard is closed? We have a Holland-America cruise for March 2021. I hope that one sails as it does a Bucket List item, the Panama Canal. I guess I'll hold my breath until Monday and keep reading these great boards!

Thank you Carnival! We are on the Dream April 18th and have the $100.00 shareholder credit. Now $200.00 more! More drinks and dinner(s) in the Steakhouse. Not cancelling now!

We are sailing on the Carnival Legend Dec. 15th. We live north of Tampa and would love to spend a night pre-cruise in Tampa and leave our car at a hotel and have shuttle service to the port and return. Can anyone recommend a hotel, if one exists that would provide this service? I really want to get to know Tampa better a nd I thought this would be a great way of doing it. Thank you for any suggestions! Paul

Hello everyone!
My partner and I along with a very long term friend will be sailing on the Dec. 9th sailing. Looking forward to getting away for a week and seeing St. Thomas and San Juan for the first time in ten years. I hope we're not alone? Paul

I think H.R. would say the same thing! :p

Thank you pr8hd for commenting. I just read today that the ship had arrived at the yard, to be turned into its next life.
I think I'm going to jump in and book this cruise. Oh, what the "H"! It's not a lot of money and the drive to Port Tampa Bay is easy. Drinks and Jimmy B. Sounds like a party!
I've been watching UTube video's and the food looks fine. I've been on almost 80 cruises and some of the least desirable meals have been on HAL(both Pinnacle Grill and MDR) and RCCL. I like Best Western and Outback! LOL
