Hello! Any suggestions on a decent digital camera? I am looking for something better than my galaxy s5 phone camera, but nothing too fancy. Under $200 for sure, would of course prefer cheaper, as I probably won't use it too much after the cruise. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this will be any help or not, but hey worth a chance to mention it. I was in a situation in 2015, and had to cancel less than two weeks before cruise due to boyfriends job. No insurance. Our pvp gave us a carnival email to request getting a refund. We did have to send a copy of his start date of his new job. I can't remember exactly what percentage we got back, but i know it was atleast 2/3 of the total fare. I'm not sure how they decided or what, but maybe worth a chance of you asking a pvp about it?! We both cancelled and we're able to get a future cruise credit, thankfully!! Merry Christmas to us lol

Thanks everyone for your help!!! Just an fyi, there is some type of board/group that you can write to to request a future credit for the amount of your penalty.

Hello, going on 7 day Dec 13. Beyond final payment. No insurance. Bf in cabin with me has been offered a new job, would have to start ASAP and work through cruise. If we cancel now, we would loose 75% of fare per pvp. Pvp also said changing dates is not an option. So if we cancel, pretty much no other option than loose the money, right? Or am I missing something? He hasn't accepted or denied position yet. No flames please, thanks!

Thinking about getting insurance for December cruise for me and my bf, no medical issues, no kids. Today is final payment day. Does insurance purchased outside of carnival have to be purchased by today? Looking for a basic plan. Driving into port the morning off, about two hours away. Suggestions?!? Thanks!

Never thought about that. This is the second time the casino rate has been available since booking, and both times it wasn't available. Looks like it may never be, oh well! But I will def keep checking lol

Booked for dream in december, bf qualifies for casino rate. The three other cruises on the dream in december offering casino rates, except ours. So frustrating. Anyone else ever experience this? Still excited to cruise, just would be nice to get it a little cheaper since we booked early saver:)

Thanks so much for the reply! We will definitely check them out. A few years back there was a little shack with the best jerk, two older woman from Jamaica were cooking the best jerk I've ever had. The next year we went back and they were gone excited to try these places out

Has anyone rented an atv/four wheeler ? We did this last year in Mahoney bay and loved it! It was right off the port, I think around $60 pp for the excursion. Been to grand cayman before and just looking for something different. Also, any suggestions on where to get good Jerk chicken? Thanks in advance for any help!

What is the best website of cabin pictures??? A while ago I saw a site that listed every cabin and the ones with available pics was a link to click on to view the pics. I am unable to find it again, so what's your favorite site?

I am planning to sail on the Dream in December. Suggestions on balcony cabins to book? Don't want to hear loud noises all night long. Other than that, no preferences. Where was your favorite room on the dream??? Thanks!!
