Doubt the signal will be strong enough. If can struggle with no hot spotting.

I had it back in March and the signal was really good. Paid for the full package and was streaming video, radio, FaceTime no problem. Paid for it again this December. Never tried hot spotting though, so will do this time.

I used a TP-Link TL-WR802N Wireless N Nano Router in the cabin on Azura last year. I am no computer technician but we were able to Login to the ship's wi-fi on one device then use the portable router as a hot spot to connect to the internet on other devices. It worked well.

    😉

The limit is one device at a time, you can use it for a number of devices but not simultaneously, for that you would need to pay for another wi fi service.

Not true. There’s ways around that.😉

Nay or yay discussions on CC can and do bring about change.  Mandatory tipping is but one example.  If a favoured ship has an impediment and one can muster enough objection to it to have a financial affect on the owner, the chances are it will be removed.  Perhaps in this case that has already been accomplished.

Unfortunately for you, I don’t think this time it has. It’s going to be refurbed. Unlucky!

  5. Makes me laugh how people decide to book on a ship knowing what is on it. Then complain about what is on it!

If you don't like sea screen then sit/lie somewhere else or even cruise on a different ship. Everybody is different and people like different things, it's human nature. There are many things on the ship that are not my cup of tea, but I would not dream of trying to change them. Do the things that you like and respect others for what they like.

  6. If you don’t like it, then sit around a different pool. You can’t please all the people all of the time.

P&O are trying to cover all the bases. Some people like the screen, some don’t. Some people like watching football on the sea screen, some don’t.

some people just like peace and quiet.

There are 3 different pools on the top deck, all offering different atmospheres.

Hi, just wondering where you have bought the tickets for, which stand and block? My wife strangely seems more interested in swimming and sun bathing, weird.

Bought the tickets through the link in the above post by eddie11. It's from the Kyazoonga website. We're in

Johnson Charles Stand - Canaries Block 212 Row 13. I think I read somewhere that the Barmy Army are in block 204, but that was sold out.

To be perfectly honest I'm not a big cricket fan and my wife is even less of one. I don't mind watching England when it's a big game (ashes). But I thought it's a good opportunity to see them and it should be a great atmosphere. A nice sunny day with a few beers and a reggae beat!

  8. Just noticed that whilst we're docked in St.Lucia on the 9th February it's the first day of the third test against the West Indies.

Does anyone have any experience of going to watch a game whilst docked in port? Is it doable? If so where's the best place to get tickets?

    Thanks

Very exciting times ahead, you will have an amazing time, our friends got married onboard Azura a few years ago and  my Husband and I were Best Man & Bridesmaid - what an AMAZING time we all had. P&O looked after us soon well!!!

That’s actually what got us started on cruising. My nephew was married on the Oceana in 2010 and since then we’ve been addicted. When my daughter said she wanted to get married on a Caribbean cruise I was made up. I can’t wait. So much so we’ve booked on the Britannia in the Caribbean next February. Just checking the Caribbean will be suitable you understand 😉

Usually months in advance, look up your Cruise Personaliser, once in to that, click "getting there and back" at top of page and your flight details will be there although you should have had these details long ago

Hi thanks for the reply. I think you may have misunderstood. November ‘19 is November 2019, not November 19th. Also, can anyone be more specific? Airlines usually release flights 11 months before, is that when they’ll go on my cruise personalised?  Thanks

  11. For a start I think they need to look at all the T&C’s.

    Namely:

    1. All in cabin need to buy it. This stops a lot of people purchasing it IMHO.

    2. No doubles. If they limit you to 15 drinks anyway what does it matter.

    3. 15 minutes between drinks. Again if you’re limited to 15 drinks.
