Are you in a suite or concierge CATEGORY cabin?
Yes, we are concierge category cabin

We are booked on our first Celebrity cruise in May, I booked directly online, but as we get closer, I have questions. We always had a Personal cruise consultant assigned when we cruised Holland America. Does Celebrity assign a cruise Consultant?

Difference in price plus gratuity on the difference. If it's $2 over the limit, you pay $2.40.

If you have a classic drink package and order a premium beer, do you pay full price for the premium or do you pay the difference between the cost of the premium and the “allowance” for the included beers

Thanks!

World wine Tasting and wine and food tasting
we are considering these experiences. The websites do not show either day or time. Are they available multiple times during each
cruise or are they a “to be determined” offering? If you have attended, how were they?

I booked directly with Celebrity, so mine did show. It was starting to drive me crazy, since I know I had chosen the all included

Thanks to Al Aboard , I was finally able to find my Wi-Fi and drink package. Go to Manage Reservation, there is a view details tab, under Payment Summary. It show the drink, and the Wi-Fi packages. My prepaid gratuities show Under the booking. It drove me crazy until I saw this thread. Why they don’t put it all together on one page, is beyond me!

Thank you! I booked some time in May, with the ‘ all included”. The booking itself only shows the prepaid gratuities not show drink package or the Wi-Fi!

Wow, I didn’t know that they would let a bunch of 12 year olds book a cabin….I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to disparage pre teens😏

Thanks,

I wanted to watch the sail away of the Summit tomorrow. Does anyone have an idea of the approx time so I can check the port webcam

Thank you all for your responses! It has been a few years since our last cruise and did not see them on the website. They were one of the best things on the ship!

I don’t see any Lido Cabanas on the Eurodam or Nieuw Amsterdam deck plan. Are they still available or is it only Retreat Cabanas?

Heaven to Murgatroid! Without a curling iron, I would look like I was wearing a fright wig!

The last time I went out of Manhattan was pre-pandemic. I recall Platinum and up got to board early; I assume Haven boarded even earlier. On my two post-pandemic cruises, Platinum also boarded early, after Haven. However, neither was on the Joy or in Manhattan. I'll agree, I'm always at the terminal early (it's a Type A thing) so it's nice to board even 5 minutes earlier than everyone else. I usually plan it out and I'm on a mission once I cross the gangplank: Hit the lifeboat check-in, up to the pool deck to .****enroll in Premium Plus, ****
finalize restaurant plans, then down to Internet Cafe to enroll in that (so I can use OBC,) then find a quiet bar (i.e. NOT pool deck.) Maybe find a light lunch and my first glass of Champagne 🙂
As am aside, the new check-in procedure is so much better than the old "sit around and listen to announcements." I'll be well acquainted with the spiel by the time I get on the ship.
As far as disembarkation, I usually don't avail myself of "preferred" and never found it to be that big of a deal. I'll almost always carry my stuff off the ship. I've never travelled Haven so I'd imagine that would be a nice benefit, down the freight elevators.
Did your friend say there was NO priority boarding at all, or just none for Category SP?
What is Premium Plus

Do you know of other Sept cruises being impacted?

The thing I hate that others love: the pool deck along with all its group activities. There are just WAY too many people around the pool for me. You’ll find me in the Vibe or on my balcony or some other quiet space where there are no crowds
The thing I love that others hate: Dressing up for dinner! I love getting all dolled up and feeling like a million bucks, taking the time to pose with the ship photographers. Then having a swanky cocktail at a nice bar before having dinner at a specialty restaurant. It makes me feel like my husband and I are back to our pre-marriage dating days when your heart skipped a beat when you saw each other for the first time for the evening. Even now just typing about it makes me feel all dreamy
I love the idea of dressing for dinner. I always bring a dress. ( you may see it more than 1 night) and really miss the formal nights.

It has been a while, but I do not recall any umbrellas. They had the Clam Shells, and also rented personal “tents”. They fit one person. Not really comfy.

Do the specialty restaurants typically”save” any openings for late comers . We are about 60 days out and there are few openings for 2. There are none left for Ocean

Do you know if this applies to the package that comes with the free at se promo

I’ve seen a number of posts discussing if the walls are magnetic, how do people use the magnetic wall? We have been an a few cruises, and never used a magnet
