What are some suggestions as to where to spend the night before a cruise in Fort Lauderdale?
-
Where do you stay the night before a cruise? We usually stay at Embassy Suites on 17th Street, but they have gotten so expensive. Do you have any suggestions? We will be on the Crown on April 2, 2022! 🎉

Welcome to the boards neighbor! 😎

As LHT said, most hotels will only book 1 year out, and some only go 330 days. Give it another couple of weeks and you should be good.
Thank you so much.Â

They do not open online bookings that far out just call the hotel & book direct or wait a few more weeks
Thank you so very much!

We are booked on a cruise for April 2022. I have been trying to reserve a hotel room for April 1, 2022, and it appears that most places are already completely booked. Is that possible? Please offer suggestions.

Thank you so much for the responses!

On the MSC Seaside which overnights in Puerto Rico, which side of the ship faces the port?

We are searching for a cruise on Sept. 11, 2016, if we can find one at this late date. Our plan is to drive to Orlando and sail from there. Does anyone have a suggestion for a hotel that provides free parking for the week? We want one close to the pier. Many thanks!

We are driving to Fort Lauderdale in Dec. and would like to spend the night before the cruise at a hotel that offers 14 day free parking. Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Many thanks :)

We have always bought the cruise line's insurance and have had to use it on three different occasions. Now I am wondering if it is better to go another route and buy insurance that covers our entire trip (going and coming). Any help will be much appreciated.:)

We would like to rent it directly from the ship if possible.

Hi. Does anyone have any information on renting a Jazzy for an elderly guest?

Thank you!

We are about to begin the packing process for our departure on Thursday. My husband usually takes his tuxedo, but there seem to be fewer and fewer men wearing them. We will be on the Ruby Princess for a B2B, and no tux would mean more room in the suitcase.
Thanks ever so much!

It is so very stressful finding a hotel with 14 day parking while we are on a cruise. Has anyone stayed and left their car at either Homewood Suites by Hilton or Fairfield Inn and Suites in Fort Lauderdale, FL? We are not terribly concerned about the hotel, but we are concerned about safe and secure parking. We usually fly, but the tickets just keep going up and up.
Any help from you cruisers is much appreciated. :D

Thank you so much for your free parking help. We did the 14 day Eclipse last year and loved, loved it!

Please, please help! I have looked and looked for hotels with free 14 day park and cruise options. I can find lots of 7 day parking. I want to choose a hotel with good, secure parking and is a nice place to spend the night before the cruise in December 2014. Any help from you all would be most appreciated. I will be driving from the North on I-95 so something easy to reach off of the interstate would be helpful. :)

Does anyone have advice on which hotel to use for 14 nights of free parking during a Princess cruise?

I do NOT want a cabin with an open balcony. How do I prevent getting an upgrade to one of those? I understand they are an upgrade from a regular balcony.

Thank you so much! I will do some searching.

Are there any hotels in Fort Lauderdale that offer free parking for a two-week cruise?

I no longer have a local travel agent. I have been searching and making my own reservations with the help of various cruise lines. What sites have you found that offer the best prices? Can you count on the cruise line to provide the best price? I am ready to look for our next cruise and any help from you would be appreciated.:confused:

I no longer have a local travel agent and have been doing my own searches and reservations with help from individual cruise lines. How do you find the very best available price for a cruise? Can you count on the cruise lines for the best price? I am looking for our next cruise and would certainly appreciate any help.

We usually stay there, but it has gotten really pricey. Thank you for your response. I am just wondering if there is something good for less than $400.
