10/27 cruise Caribbean Panama Canal

We always take insurance, it sure came in handy in 2011, with a heart attach. We also only take HAL tours in any port, the cost for both in our opinion is well worth the peace of mind to enjoy our cruise.

We have been on one during Halloween, there was a parade in the Crows nest in the evening with costumes.

Looking at two tours

One is (Authentic Embera Native Village to Colon) 6 1/2 Hrs.

Second is (Best of Panama to Colon) 5 1/2 Hrs, this must be new as there are no reviews, has any one been on this tour. The only differance we see is a boat ride around the lake to the area to get the canoes, also no lunch, compared to a bus ride through the jungle to get to the canoes, with a lunch.

I kind of like Mary's suggestion about shuffle board, I have not seen it on my last couple ships. I think it would be nice to offer it on all ships.

Kazu had a tread on 3/28 "Live from Maasdam".

Please see my post # 231, adding to my post, DW loved the magnets we found around our door each day, at the time we did not know who was putting them there, now we do and would like to acknowledge and thank "Bob" for his time and work. They along with the terrific name tags go along to make a great Meet & Greet of a wonderful cruise.

Also a thank you to HAL for there part in helping making it a success.

Another great cruise on HAL, no hiccups worth mentioning. Appreciate all the time and effort by Jaquie and Georgina for all the info and everything they do. Post #188 by Jaquie IMO was right on, great name tags by Georgina. This was our 2nd Meet & Greet, will try to never miss any others this one was a pleasure

She gave us a break in the weather, letting us leave Boston tomorrow to meet up with our friends who live in Florida. Going on the Maasdam Friday to join Roll Call ship mates to enjoy the Southern Caribbean.
