This is true.  One person cannot have both military and shareholder OBC. My hubby has both so now i will have to get stock in my name.  Pain in the backside.

It is best to see the Misty Fjords via seaplane.  Hubby and i did it one year and it was amazing.  Got to land on one lake and walk onto the pontoons of the float plane.  Definitely a great experience.

Did you notice that on the bottom of the booking page that it says this category of cabin cannot be booked in advance?

Did you happen to take a screen shot of the top table from your app?  Did you also note when you talked to Princess reps and what happened?  I would not stress now and when you get on the ship go talk to a head waiter to matre' d and tell them what happened.  They will take care of it for you once on board.

We are going on the Eclipse and like the aqua class cabins mid aft port side.  I went onto cruise deck plans and could not find photos of the specific cabins we like: 1635, 1637, 1639.   Does anyone have a photo of the bed placement in those cabins?   Hubby likes couch by the balcony... thanks

I still do not think it is allowed as the in transit passengers go thru customs and immigration early and then are allowed off.   They are usually out for most of the day.  I just don't see it happening for guests embarking that day.   Most people want to get on and start the vacation.

Airhose, What about just taking your hand carried luggage with you or checking it all in at the pier or having the hotel hold it all for you?

Not sure that is possible on embarkation day.  I would think they are trying to get people on at that time, not off.  

Has anyone been to the Isleta Beach Resort while on a Cartagena Columbia stop?  We are looking at going there on our Princess cruise in 2023.  Just wanted to get peoples opinions and maybe see some pics.

We have not picked up a car at FLL in a very long time.  The last time we did it was chaos trying to get the shuttle bus to the rental car center at FLL.   Do they still offer the shuttle or is it best to taxi/uber/lyft over to get the car?  We are going to walk off with our luggage so we can get the car asap.

Princess gives you on board credit.  Celebrity gives you discounts on the cruise fare.  Other cruise lines have given discounts or OBC sporadically.

Did not get one on the Majestic on the 11/6 cruise and we had the soda and more package.  Didn’t even ask as we figured they just didn’t have them anymore.  Oh well!

Will see if they have them on the Caribbean on our next cruise.

Someone posted on a Princess FB page that they are currently on with Capt Tuvo.  And that Tuvo said that in May he is moving to the Caribbean Princess.  Of course my phone did something weird at the wrong moment and now I cannot find that thread.  Anyone hear this??

We were on majestic in November.  Sur La Mer was outstanding.  Best dinner of whole cruise.  Service outstanding.

For our cruise in November I could not do same time every night.  Just went in daily and booked.   It changed from one restaurant to the other but no biggy.

I will have unused OBC on my upcoming Silhouette cruise.  Can I use it to purchase a new iPad?  Are the iPads new or older models?  Thanks

Thanks for that.   Shame you didn’t try Sur La Mer on the Majestic as it was fabulous.  Thought it had some of the best food on our 11/6 cruise.

We were on the 11/6 Majestic sailing.  Our cabin steward said it would take one to 2 days.  She got it back to us in one day.  She rocked.

We were on the Caribbean Princess many years ago when the Medallion first rolled out.  Never got it to work properly.  To top it off got to the ship in NYC and was told that I had canceled my cruise so my hubby was going without me. What?! It took 3 hours to get it all straightened out, while we stood to the side.  I was not a happy camper at all.  They said it is new and they were sorry.  Also gave us a dinner and  a bottle of wine.  Pain in the backside for sure!!!

I must admit that we had no issues at all on our Majestic sailing on 11/6.

Did you call Princess to find out why they changed it?  I would call them back and explain the reason you booked that one in the first place.

We just returned from the Majestic and this is the photo I took.  The R 730 does not look as big nor does it look like it is covered.
