I was on the Sunshine last year for Thanksgiving and will be on the Ecstasy this year. I had the filet for dinner and it was very good. I'll probably do the same tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

It's a vanilla and chocolate bread pudding with an amazing sweet sauce poured over the top. I hate break pudding but tried this once and now I am hooked! Right up there with the WCMC.

I love all the hot soups, escargot, filet, ribs....the list goes on and on!! 28 more day until I get to do it again!

Last cruise, 4 day on the Paradise, bar bill was $460. We also used $100 in drink coupons. :eek:

Love the pub grub idea... Wings!! Just got off the Breeze and the Red Frog pub is awesome! Make it an inside bar. But... Open air vs doors to the outside.

 

Make the funphone app a reality so you can use the ships WiFi to text at a reasonable price and available on iPods too. Wasn't up and running while we were on the the Breeze. I don't want internet. Just wanna be able to text within our group while in the ship without international charges.

 

Love the preorder idea for the MDR. I dislike eating for an hour and a half. But... Love the food.

 

Let me view all my pictures in my room on my TV instead of searching for them. I never find them all.

I actually found that statement a bit disingenuous. How nice for them to be concerned about our out of pocket expense for airfare, but the real reason is cause an effect. They can't fill their ships AND make money. Nothing wrong with that, but call a spade a spade.

I agree with you. However, airfare is ridiculous!! I paid $1,400 more for airfare than a 9 day cruise. I think I will stick to my Florida ports from now on.

One of my favorite trips was on the Sensation. Wee Jimmy and his crew are amazing and hysterical. Can't wait to relive it through your pics.

On the flip side, some solo cruisers might be by themselves because maybe a spouse just died, and that reaction will only make them feel bad. A better response would be “You’re here by yourself? OMG.....I couldn't agree more!! My friends ask me if they can go....not just NO but H*** NO!! I love doing what I want when I want. Even the hubby has learned to quit asking!! LOL. He golfs, I cruise.

Not taking ANYTHING away from the OP because I am LOVING his review!! However, take a look at the September 19 Breeze review. I just purchased a Nikon D7000 because of the quality of the pics. I honestly thought the poster had pulled his pics from a website. They are that good.

I saw a special on TV the other night that was a couple of years old but it stated that the island gets $3 per person that stops there. The cruise industry is 90% of their income on the island.

Depending on the ship you are booking, you can do something related to the name. A few years ago I surprised my now ex with a trip on the Paradise. I played Two Tickets to Paradise and handed him the itinerary at the end of the song. Then again, he surprised me by telling me there was no way he was going on another cruise. We went anyway. :)

Someone PLEASE help this woman in posting pics!!! This is such an awesome review but pics would make it that much better.
