  1. Hi, already have a booked cruise with my online agent(not from NCL) with final payment done. Booked a BX category balcony(guaranteed balcony) they give me a BE balcony category. I paid 799$ p.p. but i don't have any of the free perks.

     

    Today i asked for an upgrade to get the 5 free perks and here is their offer:

     

     

    You can upgrade to BD category and quality for the 5 perks for an additional

    $377.86 room upgrade

    $224.28 Bev package service charge for 2

    $24.84 Dinning package service charge for 2

     

    Total $626.48

     

    of course i get $200 onboard credit( i have $50 with my booked reservation)

    and i get also $50 by port for shore excursion.

     

    As i never take the UBP before on previous cruise do you think its worth it? it is a good deal?

  2. My final payment is already done,i booked a BX balcony( guaranteed balcony) they give me a category BE but i don't have any perks because i book at lower price sail away a 799$ p.p.

    It is worth it?i don't know as i never take before the UBP, but i know its at least 40$(cheapest) for a wine bottle at dinner. Do you think its worth it or no?

  3. I am considering and upgrade and this upgrade will let me get UBP and dinning speciality package.in my upgrade i see the services charges is in the cost but not the gratuities. My question is how its work for gratuites? With UBP thy will put on my card every drink i take and charge me the 18% on every drinks or its 18% of a certain cost ? Anyone know and can help me to understand, thank you.

Who is your travel agent? would like to see if he or she can do something good for me ;). booked a balcony guaranteed few months ago ,of course final payment is done of course and now price drop 200$ p.p. its 400$ less than i paid and smart cruiser where i book and NCL won't give me anything to compense,i understand its their policy but still think they could treat a past passenger better than they do now,its should be easy to give something to compense like onboard credits or deal on package, but no nothing !!!.

  5. thank you for the information, in an other category of question, can we bring with us a bottle of alcool? i think we can bring a wine bottle in our past cruise but not sure, anyone can tell me? only wine or possible to bring an alcool bottle like gin?

  6. I called them and asked for something like an upgrade or onboards credits and they told me they can't. They told me if minisuite price drop to the same price i paid for my balcony they will upgrade me to a minisuite, i think they should give me at least an upgrade to minisuite right now. By the way mini suite is it much bigger and better than balcony?

  7. Hi, booked my cruise on Escape few months ago, final payment is done. I see last week price drop of 150$ p.p for same cabin i booked(balcony) its 300$ for 2 people. Anyone know if a possibility to get refundable the difference ?If not possible to get something extra to compense at least? I called the agent(smartcruiser) where i book the cruise and called also NCL and they said they can't. Not a good way to treat customers i think.
