I can't comment on HAL as I haven't sailed them. But my husband and I sailed on Coral last year for the full Panama Canal transit and loved her! We especially enjoyed the onboard lecturers and attended almost everyone of the lectures on sea days. One lecturer spoke extensively on the history of the Panama Canal and history about some of our ports of call and the other lecturer was an astronomer spoke about stars, planets, comets etc.

My wife and her mom and brother are on that cruise. Thank you for the updates.

JunkieofER-Ill be on the same cruise as you. I have wanted to see the grave site since I saw this thread. It goes back to 2005 . maybe I'll see you on the trek over to the graves. I'm a part of doubletree07 group.
