  1. Being a Senior citizen , the only trolling I have done is in a boat. Not a ship. We did a 5 day on the Triumph and two days after returning, did the same itinerary and same menu on the Fantasy. No cruise on Carnival has ever been a bad cruise! But the food in the dining room was not as good and trying to a clean table 0n the Lido was always a challenge. I remembered the same thing from an earlier cruise on the same ship. Even the help was " downbeat ", with the exception of a great dinner team and steward. It was just a noticeable difference doing both in 12 days time.

  2. Love the Triumph, one of the very few remaining that deck three is open and has deck chairs to watch the world and flying fish go by, and not through water spotted blue glass . Just got off the Pride. Great cruise, but had to be in the sun and wind on deck 9 or 10 to try and see anything since no chairs allowed on Promenade.

  3. We were inReykavik about 3 yr. ago on Carnival. We called a Thrifty or Dollar, don't remember for sure. They picked us up at the cruise port and took us to the rental office. Renting a car was great! We did most of the " Golden Circle", getting there between the bus loads of people so we were not part of a mob. Very enjoyable, we could stop and take pics , have lunch and keep our own schedule. The catch, we had to be back at the rental office by 5 to get shuttled back. We got there at 5 min till and they had closed! One lady was still there and called a taxi. We had been told everyone in Iceland speaks English( HA!). Thank goodness someone had a pic of the ship!!! Just call and ask about to and from shuttles, and be back a little early. It is definatly worth renting a car instead of doing the mob on wheels.
