Thanks all. I figured as much but thought I would check. It’s only 25% of base cruise fare which works out to $600 which frankly still doesn’t make a dent so I think we’re going to visit the zoo here in NJ and try to get home Sunday. Good luck to everyone who still sails. Such a bummer. This sailing was just too expensive for me to still go. I can’t stomach paying over $2k for a 3 day cruise (not including airfare). Fingers crossed the rain holds off!!

Can anyone confirm if you get the 25% discount on a future cruise if you cancel completely? We have a 3 and a 1 year old and frankly boarding at 10pm and mustering would be a nightmare. By the time we get them back on schedule it will be time to come home, not to mention it’s supposed to rain in Bermuda on Tuesday. Currently sitting in a hotel in NJ (because we flew in a day early) and thinking this may not even be worth it *sobs*

Thank you so much for the comparisons. You seem like very reasonable people when it comes to understanding what is the responsibility of the cruise line and what is not inside their control. Having only sailed Princess (although I sailed Carnival once on my own...never again!), I appreciated your thoughts. Sounds like based off what you said we will likely stick with Princess, but I could see potentially going RCI if we didn't like any of the Princess Itinerary options. So glad you enjoyed your time!
