Myself and two friends booked a cruise on Fantasia in February in inside cabins and we were all assigned an oceanview. Cruise is in September.

What itinerary are you talking about? In the Med Italy still requires bubble tours (ship tours only) and therefore MSC did not allow any individual tours although Spain and France did allow them. Italy´s state of emergency lasts until March 31st. It´s expected that it won´t be prolonged. If so the bubble tours are history in Italy. We still have to wait and see what they decide.

The itinerary had ports in Spain, France and Italy. I do think that reviewer in question did not quite understand the whole picture 😏
Thanks for the reply, it cleared up the confusion.

Hello everyone, new to the MSC boards.
Just read a review where someone claimed that you are not allowed to get off the ship in any port unless you've purchased at least one shore excursion via MSC.
Review was quite recent, Dec 2021.
Is this true and if not, is there a reason this person has misunderstood?
Our cruise is in September, so plenty of time to prepare 😆
Thanks everyone.

So glad to hear you enjoyed it and thanks very much for the positive vibe! Boarding the Epic from Rome in August and looking forward to it a ton!

Also looking forward to this 😊

The weather can be anything. It can be sunny, cloudy or rainy. It can be warm or cool or cold. It can be windy.
So come prepared.

We fly Southwest with points. We book our airfare early and look for sales constantly and when the price drops we change the airfare and there is no fee and the price drop is returned back to your account as points. Works for us!Southwest Airlines does. The only thing I can't recall is whether the price delta is refunded or given as a credit toward future purchases. It isn't automatic and you have to call in to talk to a rep if you see a lower fare than the one you paid.
Edited to add: saw the post above...so there you go. Price delta is given as a credit toward future flights.
Well of course it's a company that doesn't fly anywhere near us :D:D:D

Some airlines do
Which ones?!
Never heard of this before

This is the way it is.
There is no difference in this and other industries. When clothing is first offered, there may be a bit of an introductory sale. Then there is a period where it is full price. Maybe you can find some discounts. Then the season starts to change and then it is finally offered at clearance...then mega clearance...then super colossal clearance.
If you care about get exactly what you want in the color you want in your size...then you buy early. And if you don't care as much about certain details...then you wait for the clearance.
I've purchased early and I've purchased "on sale" not early. I don't live close enough to a port to purchase clearance. I have to travel and there are all sorts of other arrangements (excursions, etc.) that I care about as well.
My BEST purchase has been as early as possible. I had my pick of all the rooms available in my category and I just watched the prices go up and up and up. And then they were sold out. One came back and the price was ridiculous...but someone eventually bought it too.
As I said...it is what it is. I believe life has fewer frustrations if you just figure out the price you are willing to pay and then pay it and forget it so to speak. Why look at the clearance prices?
Love the comparison, Anita :)
I always book early to avoid any disappointment.
I never check the prices after that.
Only once have I cancelled and rebooked a cruise because the prices crashed down so much it was worth losing the down payment.
Wouldn't had even known about it if the whole Roll Call hadn't gone nuts about it :D

Most Promo's when being shown on the website, unless noted otherwise in the T&Cs, are honored when booking onboard. The Loyalty Ambassadors on board no longer handle booking future cruises. You will have to make an appointment with the Future Cruise Sales rep.:D
Enjoy your cruise.
That's who I meant. Couldn't remember the correct title in all my cruise-booking-excitement :D:D:D

You can combine the OBC from booking on board and the C&A balcony discount with the 30/30 saile.
Wehey!!
I'll book it on Sunday then.
Second thing I'll do on board :p
Thanks, Bob.
Knew I could trust you to know the right answer :D
A new report coming soon ;)
Hope you'll read it!

From the Terms & Conditions: "Cruise must be booked Oct.12-Nov. 9, 2015 (the “Offer Period”). Offer applies to sailings departing on or after Nov. 12, 2015".
Yes, this I know. :)
I just couldn't find information whether this offer is valid if booked onboard with a loyalty ambassador.

I also appreciate these ideas.
Sinny, we will miss you by a few days. We're on Vision, leaving from BCN on the 30th.
Oh NO. Bad luck if I ever had any :(
Hope you have a great cruise!

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I'm in a hurry to book :D
Do I get these discounts if I book a cruise onboard the Allure next week or should I book now online?
Just want to know if I can get the OBC as well...Bob? Anyone?
Cheers folks! :)

Hi,
just making sure that there is still traditional MDR dining or have they gone to Dynamic Dining already?
-
Aloha Sinny,
We love reading your reports and seeing you smiling faces. Looks like you had a great time with your friends. Say hi to Lowry for us.
Gary and Julie
Ps: I think we were in Vietnam a couple of days after you.
Gary my friend!!
Aloha!
Great to hear from you.
How did you like Vietnam?
We loved it so much that we decided to go back for a land vacation soon.
Hope we get to cruise with you guys soon again.
Say hi to Julie.

Thank you, thank you!! Our Panama cruise on Legend was by far one of my favorites and I plan to do again sometime. You pictures just reminded me of all the fun we had.
Thanks again
You're welcome!
I've read your report plenty of times [emoji3]

I'm sure there are many West End shows that never made it to Broadway or flopped there. American and British audiences sometimes have different tastes. I guess I'll find out in January.

Of course! Especially since the ship will probably have predominantly British passengers, We Will Rock You will likely be a hit.

Thanks, enjoyed seeing the Canal from your eyes.
Your sense of humor is priceless :):)
No off to your review of Jewel, time to relieve very fond memories of Cartagena :D
Thanks Dan!
Appreciate your honesty and good opinion [emoji6]

Amazing review!!
Makes me want to cruise to the canal so bad!!
Thank you!!!
That's such a great compliment.
Hope you get to do it soon.

Thank you so much for your review. We did the same cruise last November but we left from Fort Lauderdale and ended up in San Diego. It was a great cruise and your pictures helped me remember all the places we went to. You did not mention Noro, Noro, Noro except in the beginning so I am thinking you had no problems with this sickness. Looking forward to your next review. :D
Things went back to normal after a few days. None of us had any problems.

Sinppu, thanks for a great and humorous review. We were also on this trip and I enjoyed seeing your pictures from the places we didn't get to! Cartagena was also my favorite port! I loved the bright colors, house doors on the houses and the culture! It's a trip we plan to do again!! I'm sorry we didn't meet up onboard!
I also find it fun to see what other things there were to see and do.

On recent Bella bookings, what did you book and what did you get?

I apologise for the late reply. The cabins were assigned in the end of June.
