Villefranche-Sur- Mer is well worth a visit.  From the train stop, just a short walk down to he town.  Suggest you have lunch at one or the many  oceanfront cafes.  Petra

We did a post cruise once in Nice.  Stayed at the Palais de la Mediterrane.  Highly recommend this hotel because it is beautiful and in the perfect location to walk to most sites.  Also, it easy to tale short train excursions to other beautiful little towns.

We want to do a river cruise next July to celebrate my Birthday. We have done many ocean cruises on Silversea and Crystal. How do Crystal’s River cruises compare to other lines? Any info will be much appreciated. Thank you

We were booked on the Bach Inaugural and have now been booked on a Symphony cruise in July. When is Symphony going into that "unscheduled" dry dock I read about? We are concerned that the rebooked cruise might also be cancelled. Please respond asap

We had a bad experience with TravelGuard. Our flight to Barcelona was delayed over 24 hours. Because of an unruly passenger, the flight had to return to Philadelphia and by the time the authorities had finished, the crew was timed out. So we called TravelGuard to secure alternate flights and they wanted us to pay $10,000 for two economy tickets to Barcelona. They said we could then turn in a claim and "perhaps" get that money refunded. We passed on that offer. The airline finally got us there. But we missed prepaid hotel and tours. Again TravelGuard was useless. Claimed delays caused by unruly passengers are not covered. I imagine the FBI, Homeland Security, and other local authorities who boarded our plane to drag this guy off, might disagree.
