  1. I agree with some of that. While I absolutely hate the new system at the parks (enough where I refuse to go to the parks anymore) because you have to reserve your fastpasses months in advance or wait in line for a long time. What if i just wake up today and want to do a day at disney? Long lines for me. The only thing I don't agree with is the getting to the port. When the old smaller ships were the only ships, it wasn't a problem, but now there are too many people with the larger ships and the first time i was on the dream before the pick your time, i guess every single person on the ship came early and the building became very claustrophobic. They made people sign up for times because of crowd control. It helps now.

  2. You can sign up on the ship if there is space for a public one or there are private groups that arrange to hold them. Many cruise meetup spaces I have seen arrange them privately. I wonder if that changes the experience?

Both the ones i have signed up for were through the ship and both were very different. Weird.

  3. I think it just depends on what is more important to you. Time or money. I don't mind waiting on a shuttle and talking about the cruise with those who just got off. I do mind paying an extra $50 that I could have used toward my next Disney Cruise haha.

  4. I have taken 2 mixology classes in the past, both very different. The 1st one, they let volunteers come up and take turns mixing about 6 drinks and everyone got to try them in shot glasses. The 2nd one, they had 1 volunteer come up and mix a drink that was enough for 2 people (a full glass) and they got to pick the person they gave the other drink to. I think it's obvious that i enjoyed the 1st one better because everyone got to try the drinks and since theres an extra cost, it was worth it.

My question is, if you have done the class, what was your experience? I am wondering if they changed the way they do the classes or if it was just a weird, under trained class. Also, it has been a while so i was wondering the price. Thank you!

  5. Depending on how many people you have, goportcanaveral.com is free to park but $5 per person to take the shuttle. Of course, that would be $10 round trip. For the 3 of us, it cost us $30 for a 7 day cruise. Thats 2 days at the port. Much cheaper

  6. We're going on the June 11 Fantasy cruise.

We've been to Grand Cayman once before, and really enjoyed our private boat tour, so we're doing the same thing again. We've also been to Cozumel, but the last time we went to the Mayan ruins, so this will be our first time actually exploring the island.

We will be on your ship. My son is 8. We are so excited. Haven't been in a long time.

  7. I guess i made a typo, or i cant do math. Last time i went was June 2012. I guess I'm asking because i have seen changes to other ships kids clubs to add star wars and i was wondering if they did that or anything similar. And if any procedures have changed like check in or special nights/dinning etc.

  8. When are you going? We are going on the same ports in a few weeks. The only place we are going off the ship is falmouth. We are doing a private resort which we have done before. Its called resort for a day. Lots of fun. We have also done the tour at grand cayman which was reasonable and lots of fun. Turtle farm and hell was great!

  9. I think i had a light sandwich for lunch there one afternoon while a show was going on. Its a small quick service fridge but not a lot. As i recall, sandwich was good but nothing like park cafe. Great if u are there and dont eat hot dogs from the hot dog shack and u need something quick.

  10. Where is the break down for the tips? Like who gets what on what night?

We are doing allure soon and doing the dining package (4 nights in specialty restaurants), do most people just tip their mdr servers for the remaining 3 nights they eat in the mdr or do they tip for every night even though they are tipping the specialty servers too and not eating in the mdr each night? Thank you!!
