If you choose my time dining ( not a set time) you can usually request to sit alone but you may have to wait for a table and you don’t have the same staff every time

Can you take flowers when you board in Australia , just had a message to say some one from England as ordered flowers for me for my birthday this Saturday the day I board they did not know I was going away.
flowers and fruits trees etc are definitely a no you also can not take them off the ship if you buy them and want to take them home
Only exception is if you never leave your country

You can book more than one excursion per port if time allows. I just started selling Regent and love it hope you will also. Have a wonderful trip.

a reduced deposit sale just released $50 deposit call your travel agent Early Saver is great if you are a regular cruiser and cancel you should have no problem using the deposit on another sailing. If all else fails buy travel insurance either way you may be out some money if you cancel.

I was just on the Crown did not have any issue with extra main and I ordered Lobster however there were several complaints from guests regarding dining and said it was only on the Crown I sell Princess and am not aware of any new dining policy that limits food

most of the cruise lines offer an excursion for day of departure for a fee if you have a late flight

the latches are mostly because it's an older ship that has not been updated no guarantee it will be in your cabin it is not cabin specific however if you have not cruised before know it is very difficult to open the doors they are heavy due to the vacuum effect.

carnival for entertainment we just aren't old enough to appreciate Princess, but since travel is my job I will eventually work my way around to them all. Although river cruising is pricey up front you can't beat the luxury and excursions included. You will find that the experience is often more about the quality of staff on the ship.

Usually mid ship is for those who may have some sea sickness issues it is a little less motion there search the floor plans for the ship you will be on and try to book between floors with staterooms less noise you don't want to be under a night club or pool deck where they relocate chairs dozens of times a day and night also the lower decks sometimes have extra engine noise check out my blog if you have other travel questions and Congratulations

cruise addict yes , millennial in mind only. I can't understand why more people aren't addicted. The value compared to a hotel or resort and restaurants etc. what's not to love. So far, Carnival is our favorite we mostly enjoy the entertainment.

if you are going with a group your travel agent can coordinate your table before you cruise it gives the dining room a clue how many large tables may be needed but won't keep you from waiting

it is generally $10 per day ocean view is as nice as a basic balcony with a large picture window if your planning to spend all your time participating in activities why bother, however if you may spend time in your room it is nice to have your own place to get away especially if it is a trip to a warm climate and you want sun. Occasionally the deck chairs up top are full and this way you have your own spot. The obstruction is a life boat that hangs above the area, if your sitting you can see beyond it however , not when standing. If money is not an issue and it's your first cruise splurge. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Always interesting when people complain about grammar and spelling within posts. I guess you have more time on your hands than I.

It is totally fine to read these reviews and get ideas just keep in mind One is NOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER not really. The reason they are different is like comparing Lobster to Sea Legs not every one likes Lobster just because it's expensive.
They are different for a reason
Cost yes you get what you pay for However some of the less expensive lines have better tasting food it may be served with out linen tablecloths or you get prestigious service and attention like a king but if your 30 the entertainment will put you to sleep.
A Travel Agent is your friend and helps you understand the differences and we are paid by the cruise line it does not cost you extra.
