I've booked the Flexible Air and a couple of the flights have seats assigned, but I can't change them online and I'd really like to upgrade to Air France's Premium Economy, but there's only like 12 seats for that type. I have no idea how much more it'd cost but you'd think they could just add it to my entire price I'm paying already?

I haven't been able to select my seats. I'm thinking maybe once final payment is made I will be allowed to.

You should be able to, I'm flying out a bit before the cruise to enjoy Barcelona. Booked my flights using Fun2Fly and had no problems doing so.

How would I explain this to book it?

July 1st sailing because it's mu birthday! I didn't really care where it was going just knew I would be celebrating my birthday in Europe on a new ship!

Like most I plan to book privately but I still like looking at the excursions offered on the Carnival site and the prices for comparison. It's how I get an idea of what to do at each port. Patiently waiting

We fly from Nashville and paid $1314 RT each to Paris for June 2014 (purchased October 2013). I'll be using this as my price matrix this time.

 

Remember that if you have to drive somewhere to save money you may be spending any "savings" in gas, long term parking, food and possibly hotel.

I'm in Memphis but BNA is definitely an option for me. Keep me posted if you see any significant price drops. I'm on the July 1 cruise but would like to leave a week early and fly into either London or Paris before making my way over to Barcelona.

I'll definitely keep posting here, be good to work together and see what kind of deals we find. I'll be on the July 1st sailing and plan to spend a couple of days ahead of the cruise in Barcelona or Madrid, depending which one has the best offers. I'm even willing to do Paris if that is a better option as far as flights but the savings need to be significant.

Keep me posted I'm leaving from Memphis for the July 1 cruise. I will look at flights from Nashville that's one city I didn't considered. Now I'm thinking about Little Rock, AR in addition to Atlanta which all the flights seem to connect to. I want to fly into London or Paris then make my way over to Barcelona pre-cruise.

Never had an issue but I don't bring expensive clothes on a cruise and I don't send my dress clothes to be laundered. Mainly socks, underwear, cotton tee shirts, jeans, swim suits, workout clothes

I've had the same issue I'm platnium and after every cruise they try to issue me a new VIP number as soon as I receive that email welcoming me to the Red VIP club I call carnival to get it fix my PVP says she doesn't know why it keeps doing that but it may have something with my name which is La Tonya one word with a space but some of my cruises has it as one word without the space and others have my first name as just La

Who sits around and watches if or when people go to the bathroom? I'm a nurse and my bladder is trained for 12 plus hours hopefully people won't assume I'm wearing an adult brief or urinating in the pool or hot tub as some people on this thread see to be doing! I'll be more concerned with the linen and towel your using on the cruise which are probably treated in the same manner as the pool and hot tubs rendering them safe to the cruiser!

I'm leaving on the carnival dream next week and I have booked a room at the comfort inn and suites paradise island to gain access to Atlantis. My five year old lives for camp carnival! I actually threaten her that she can't go if she doesn't behave. My 12 year also enjoys especially now that she has scavenger hunt privileges. Next cruise will be her first time in Circle C and I'm afraid she won't like it unless we go with someone she knows who also is in Circle C.
