When I cruised last month on the Independence, I used the Line of Credit application and sent it in to Casino Operations in Miami. I was hoping to get credit approval for markers.
They did not approve me, but based on the fact that I had a suite, they increased my daily limit from $2000 to $3000 and would not charge me the 3% fee if I took money out on my SeaPass.
Needless to say I started with cash, ended with more cash and never had to use either! :)

We are in 1590 port side/ deck 10. Will we have noise from the pool deck?
Having been in 1560 and 1564 (and will be in the same rooms four weeks from now, which are directly underneath the overhanging hot tubs...I can definitely tell you no!
I, too, worried about upper-level noise due to the pool and hot tubs. I never noticed it and it became a non-issue as soon as I arrived in the room.
What is the food like at the Cafe Promenade?
Since the Windjammer is standard cafeteria, buffet faire (on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 7), what I end up doing is alternating between the Windjammer and Cafe Promenade.
Between the pizza and mini-sandwiches at Sorrento's, the pastrie and coffee at Seattle's Best Coffee Shop, and Ben and Jerry's (not to mention Johnny Rocket's), we had no problem with lunchtime.
Or dinner.
Or breakfast.
Or snacking. ;)

For the second cruise on a row we have booked suites 1560 and 1564, and I'll echo the sentiments expressed above:
1. Noise is not an issue, but
2. The overhang of the whirlpool prevents a 100% top view. More like 85%. Or 86%. No, 85%. ;)

Deck - 11
Cabin # - 11640 and 11644
Class – OS (Owner's Suites)
Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - closer to Rear Starboard - halfway between middle of ship and aft elevators
Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Neither - balcony was off living room
Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Quiet when rude people above us were not pounding the floors. 11644 connects to 11650, a D2. cabin.
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– Standard balcony starboard oceanview. No obstructions.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Oversized. 4 chairs, a table and two loungers.
Was wind a problem? no
Any specific problems with this cabin? I thought the space between the foot of the bed and the TV was way too narrow, but no biggie. The issue is the same issue everyone has with the bathrooms - shower too small, potty too small, bidet unnecessary, etc.
Any other comments? A beautiful suite. Worth the extra price. Closet space more than plentiful. Extra electrical outlets came in handy.
