Thank you all for the responses! I am still apprehensive but I am sure I will find something I like. I am sure he thinks I am making too big a deal of it which I probably am. He really is a wonderful boyfriend and I know he wants the whole experience to be special. Can you ask to see a mdr menu if you dont like any of the blu options? Or is that a no no?

Ok so my boyfriend booked this romantic cruise on the celebrity silhouette. I have always cruised carnival so I am sure this is going to be totally different experience. However, he says he booked us in BLU dining since we are on in the aqua class stateroom (whatever that is) and I was looking at the menus and I am worried. Part of my favorite cruise experience is the food and while carnival's food wasn't stellar it was edible. I have perused the menus for Blu and it doesn't sound like anything I would eat! I am not into the fancy schmancy foods and don't like exotic meats or cheeses. Am I going to be able to find something I like to eat??

We are sailing on the carnival fascination on June 18th. I am recently disabled within the past four years and have not taken a big trip like this alone with my 8 year old son. I cannot ambulate very far and will have to use a scooter. I booked a handicapped room. I am nervous and scared but excited.

Has anyone ever been on the fascination? I didn't even think about chairs with arms!! I have gained a large amount of weight due to my injury and I am worried about which excursions I will be able to do. Do you leave the scooter at the pier? Do they watch it for you? I really want to do the dolphin excursion but I can't walk or stand for long at all.

Any insight or advice about excursions would be awesome!!
