I have been on Anthem before and stayed in a suite, the WOW bands were included. We have a family cruise coming up and we all booked balcony rooms, and was wondering if you can get the bands? I thought I have read you can for like a dollar. Can anyone answer this? Thanks

I think we might have to change rooms to the Spa Jr suite. I just do not know just how I feel with the regular Jr suite set up. We use the balcony a lot in and out of port and at sea. Thinking that the layout of the room and balcony might be better in the Jr spa suite, just not sure yet.

We were in a spa jr suite on the Anthem May 2015 and absolutely LOVED the cabin! Lots of space, a toilet with sink seperate from the shower/bath/sink. Shower had a rain shower. I would stay in that room again in a heartbeat!
Thanks

There was a very similar post earlier today.
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2375147
Long story short the Spa Junior Suite is better than the Junior Suite. The Family Junior Suite is the largest, but slightly further away from the elevators/stairs.
Differences between Spa and Family.
Spa has a separate walk in shower and bath. Family has a shower bath combo. Family has two toilets (one in the full bath and one in the half bath) and Spa only has a toilet in the half bath.
Spa has a love seat with ottoman. Family has a full size couch and chair.
Spa has one small closet next to the bed in addition to the full size closet. Family has two small closets on both sides of the bed in addition to the full size closet.
Spa is on hump (great views both aft and forward) and Family is slightly recessed and therefore looking aft you see hump cabins and looking forward you see the cabins that are forward of the forward stairs, which jet out further than the mid ship structure.
Thanks

January we will be in Anthem for the first time. We are booked in a Junior Suite, Now I am wondering if the Spa Suite is a better choice. I am a bit confused about the Junior Suite being part of the family suite. If someone has been in either class of room I would love to hear what your experience and opinions are. Also trying to find out any information on the Dynamic Dinning, this also a first for us.

Yes they are held on the pool deck.

I was one that always book with RC. Then I found the perks useing a TA. Now I book with RC and transfer the booking to the TA that gives me the best bang for the buck.

We have cruised mostly in the grand suite. We have moved up to the owners suite for our next cruise out of MD on Grandeur of the Seas. I have read on another site that internet is one of the perks in the OS. I have not missed not having the net during our cruises, but would be good to keep it touch and post pics. We have used the internet perk just to send a ecard to the family. just woundering if anyone had some information on this. Thanks

They do from time to time. If you go to the top of this page and under the "deals" tab you will find "price drop" and you can search for the cruise you are looking for.

We will be going on a B2B eight night and a ten night. looks like we will have a good amount of OBC for both cruises. If we do not use all of the OBC for the frist will it transfer to the second. It is most likely a pipe dream but if someone knows how one might do this that whould be great. Thanks

Thanks for the information. Always good to see that people will take the time to post good things that the cruise line does for us. All to often we only get to read when things might not have went the way one would like it to.

On Grandeur, they had a martini happy hour every day buy one get one free in the crown lounge we were on her in December.

For you that are getting your moneys worth are you in short cruises? we for the most part take 10 or more night and back 2 back cruises. so $65 X 10 night cruise is $650. I do not think I would drink that much coffee, water, Juice, or booze to even break even.

For snorkeling ST Maarten has the best water of the three. Enjoy your cruise

I belive it just went to $19 a day

you will have a one hour time change going down and then comming back. The ship time will be the same as the port that you are in. You will be fine if it ends @ 3 and sail @ 4. Enjoy We got off the Grandger on christmas eve, Great little ship. Enjoy:)
