Hertz will let you drop it at the Crowne Plaza - it is the closest hotel to the port entrance. The shuttle will take you to the Port. It was quite convenient. The shuttle ride was about 3 minutes.

Sounds like the Crowne Plaza. We stayed there in October and ate at Anthony's. Awesome pizza!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but I love my Cesar's too- but I never found Clamato on our Allure cruise in October. I had two bartenders tell me that a bloody Mary was the same thing. It isn't!

Both my kids were in he voyagers group in October. They loved it.
You can give him sign out privledges if you want. You can also take away the check out option at anytime if you run into any problems. I gave my two the ability to check out - but normally I picked them up.
AO does close during lunch hour and dinner hour on sea days.
Late night parties are only available I you pay for the option $6 per hour. It didn't seem like that many children stayed during the late night hours on our cruise. At 10 pm there was always a huge line to pick up.

Anthony's coal fired pizza was delicious! We ate there in Oct, during our stay at the Crowne Plaza.

I booked direct through Dolphin Discovery for our Royal Carribbean cruise a few weeks ago. I had to book direct, as RCCL required one adult in the water with every child under the age of 12. I was traveling with my 9 and 11 year old. DD considers everyone over 4'8" tall to be an adult. We got a great deal online. Full price for the first person and $1 for the second.
It was pouring rain, and the program still ran. We had a fabulous time. We only had four in our group. There really is no free time was the dolphins. Anyone not currently doing an activity with the dolphin was waiting in the water on the ledge. No cameras at all allowed in the water. Pictures were adorable - but cost close to the same as the whole dolphin package. We didn't purchase any. We had two dolphin trainers in the water with us, and they were super knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
Some of our fellow cruisers who booked through the ship where I the water at the same time - they had close to twenty of them per group.
The taxi each way was about $10 plus tip. We didn't eat at the buffet or restaurant - but did grab a snack (fries and drinks) at the small snack bar. The price was very reasonable.
We also enjoyed the snorkeling at Channakab. Despite the rain, the visibility was good.

Most likely not. The teen club is in a different area of the ship than Ocean Adventure.

In October we found for the three of us, a taxi was cheaper than a shuttle. It was 80 + tip, and we were there in under 40 minutes.

On Allure last week my 9 year old DS wore dressy shorts and polo tops to the MDR on casual nights. No one said a word (lots of adult men in our area were wearing shorts as well). On formal nights he wore khakis, a dress shirt and tie. I love little boys all dressed up.

My children just wore there regular clothes. Depending on how late you'll be, they do have a little sleeping area for the 3-5 year olds, so pjs might be a good idea.

Thank you!

Anyone have any idea what the travel time and driving conditions are like between MIA and the Falls mall? My daughter really wants to go to the American Girl Store. We're from Canada, so we don't have them here. We will have a rental car. Our plane gets in about 10 am Saturday morning. We leave Sunday on the Allure.

We flew into Miami before our cruise on the Allure in October.
I rented a car at MIA and drove to a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. I was able to do some shopping on the way, stop at Walgreens - and went out for dinner and breakfast.
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza and they have a Hertz rental car location on site. After checking out of our room, I was able to grab the shuttle (which runs about every 15 minutes) and was at the port in about 10 minutes. It was super easy!
